Vacation rentals with lake access in Montague County

We had such an exceptional and relaxing stay at Deb’s place. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. We love the care she has taken with details of the decor and amenities. She thought of everything and went above and beyond to help us canoe! We enjoyed the fire pit, games and beautiful views. This lake spot is truly a piece of heaven. We loved the outside space also to grill and watch football. And the dogs were so sweet!! An extra bit of comfort—home away from home. We can’t wait to go back.

We will defiantly stay at Marty’s place again. You cannot beat the private setting and beautiful lake views. We used the kayak and paddle board which worked great. Fishing from the dock was also wonderful. It was new, clean, dock was very safe. The house was also very new and clean with plenty of room for all our guests. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend on the lake give it a visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Marianne’s Lake House on Lake Nocona. It was our home away from home- She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. I was up early every morning to watch the amazing sunrise over the lake from the sunroom. We needed to stay an additional night & she was very accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

Great place if you want a get away! It is not close to a city or amenities - but wonderful place for a peaceful getaway!!

Weather was chilly, in December, so spent lots of time inside. Enjoyed the fireplace, the view of the lake from the dining area was great. Found a Snoopy puzzle that was fun. Just time spent together was good. The place was comfortable, the dock where we did some fishing, was nice. The bed was very comfortable.

We were in need of a “place away from people” for Thanksgiving, and the cabin on the lake was perfect! There was plenty of room for my two adult kids and my husband and I comfortably. There was plenty of outside seating and spaces that honestly, that’s where most of our time was spent! Wonderful stay!

Took a group of boys to this house for my son’s 14th bday. Really neat place. The house was more spacious than we expected. The boys love to fish and caught 30-40 total fish (catfish, sand bass and large mouth). The boys and the adults had a blast. Close enough to Nocona to run into town to grab something but it has a secluded feeling. Lake was not crowded despite a fishing tournament going on. Will definitely be going back.
