Awesome 3 bed vacation lake house. Great location!

Three bedroom house right on Johnson’s Pond with private water access right in the back yard. House features queen master with deck overlooking the pond. 2nd bedroom features a full bed with twin bunk bed above along with a stand alone twin bed. 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. Perfect for one or two couples to share. Full kitchen and laundry along with WiFi and streaming services. Use of 2 kayaks and pedal boat. Just two miles from I-95, so everything in southern New England is just minutes away!!

This is truly a very special place! We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful property. The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was ideal for what we were looking for- water view/access, secluded, and easy access to local towns like Watch Hill, Charlestown, Westerly, and Newport The location made exploring a breeze. The host Marie was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions and helpful tips about the area. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Rhode Island/eastern Connecticut shore area. We look forward to staying here again on my next visit!

This is a beautiful, old home that has been remodeled nicely. The kitchen amenities are solid. We hosted a Thanksgiving dinner here for my local family and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. I saw the previous review about heat issues and mold, but we didn't encounter any of those problems. The heat worked very well on the main floor. It was a little chilly in the upstairs bedroom, but nothing that a portable wall heater couldn't take care of. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. The layout of the bedrooms is a little awkward, but nothing insurmountable. There are some hard-to-navigate stairs that lead to the upstairs bedroom that would be impossible for the very old to navigate, but my teenage kids did just fine getting up there. The host was incredibly responsive and even had warm, homemade sourdough bread waiting for us! John is a wonderful host and this home is a true find.

As a native long islander I enjoy finding great properties I can bring my family to to take advantage of all long island has to offer. This was the DREAMIEST beach bungalow!! The bedroom with the two beds was just my favorite room especially since we visited off season. You cannot beat this location. I can't wait to book again during high season! I can’t say enough great things about this place. We stayed for a week and it felt like home away from home. Everything was spotless and smelled professionally clean. The cabin house was SO CUTE and spacious. Perfect size for family to visit while we were in town, even with the pups. Lots of kitchen utensils, towels, blankets, you name it. We will definitely book again when we come back to visit family.

Large Island Lake House, near casinos

We loved the lakehouse! The setting and house were more beautiful than the photos. Panoramic lake views abound from inside and outside the house. The kitchen has new appliances and the house was toasty on a few very cold days. Also, there is a nice fire pit, outdoor lounge area, and a new dock that is amazing at night to walk out onto and gaze up at the stars. The sunrises and sunsets are visible from the property and provide a bonus. It’s very peaceful and everyone in my group slept well. I hope to be back in the warmer weather to swim, kayak, and unwind.

This was the perfect house for our trip (6 adults, 1 child). Photos were accurate, location was perfect for walks to ice cream (Barron's, formerly Brickley's), pizza (Kingston Pizza) and if you were up for a longer walk, to the beach. As compared with prior reviews, things are more convenient now -- check-in used a keypad lock (though the door/doorjam needs to be adjusted so it can close correctly without someone needing to pull it closed) and linens were included. Beds were firm (my preference), but are all foam mattresses (one member of our party happens to do poorly on foam beds, so it's good to know in advance). The kitchen was well enough stocked with pots/pans/dishes/lobster-eating accessories, and the bathrooms were clean enough for us (the grout was not spotless, but it isn't at our house, either...). An issue with the linens was remedied quickly, and overall, we had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.
