Cabin vacation rentals in Mogollon Rim

We loved staying here with two families. The bedrooms are organized with a king bedroom joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom to a “kids” room. One set upstairs and one set downstairs. The yard was fenced and so perfect for the kids to play in. Neighbors were friendly and the restaurants were really welcoming to little kids. My kids all want to come back!

Verla’s place is SO MUCH MORE STUNNING than the pictures! You enter into a beautiful game room, walk up to the sleeping areas and kitchen, then straight back to the eclectic hot tub and courtyard/backyard area. I expected something more dingy from the pictures, but instead, this stay feels like coming home to grandma’s hug and eating her version of oatmeal raisin cookies you actually like. The neighborhood is very peaceful, the area is gorgeous… this is the first BNB I’ve ever been to where I’d want to book it again!! She also gave us some fresh eggs, which my guests were extremely excited for. Thank you Verla!!!

This listing is absolutely perfect. The home is a newer build, located in a quiet neighborhood in the pines. We loved our stay! The home was spotlessly clean. Sarah clearly payed carefull attention to the furnishings. Everything was great quality and very cozy. We were so impressed that it was even better than expected! Sarah had a smores station set up for use in the firepits on property. She left a bottle of wine and a snack basket. The spice cabinet was well stocked (way beyond the standard salt, pepper, sugar and oil you'll find in many rentals). There were separate towels for the hot tub. Instructions were very clear and she and her two co-hosts were very responsive on text and email. This is far and away the best airbnb or vacation rental we've ever used. You can tell that Sarah cares about the guest experience and wanted it to be perfect. It is ideally suited for a couples or family trip. Wish we could give more than just five stars, because it is just THAT good!

This location is perfect for a family getaway. Secluded enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, yet close enough to any store/restaurant in the area. Enjoying an early morning coffee on the porch and a late night dip in the hot tub were just a couple of our favorite moments. The kids had a blast with the provided games and activities. The decor fit perfectly with the season, we went right before Christmas. The whole family agrees that we would love to return to this location again!

Stunning location, nestled away in the bottom of the mountains. Nothing but wildlife sounds and stillness. It was perfect for a few days get away from the city. The hot tub is fantastic and such a neat feature up on the hill to watch a sunset. Beautiful spots to just relax and take in the surroundings. Love the big front porch for my dogs to lounge all day. The cabin is stocked with everything your dog needs as well including blankets, bed, crate, bowls etc so that was nice to not have to bring all of that. Lots of games , dvds and everything needed to cook so you don’t have to leave. Skylight feature in master was also so cool to stargaze at night. Really enjoyed my time and so did my pups. Super relaxing, comfy and cozy

It was a clean and wonderful place. I would love to return in the summer for a girls weekend.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful! The place was spotless and incredibly neat, making us feel right at home. We were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was—there were plenty of pots and pans, which made cooking super convenient. The cabin also had a great selection of games to keep us entertained in the evenings. And the hot tub? It was amazing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Our host, Kelly was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great place to stay. Highest compliment I can give is if it was available to buy ever I would be interested. Lisa was very helpful and responsive. We even ran into her a few times around town. The location was close to everything in town but far enough away that the property was filled with local wildlife as we saw about 20 deer during our stay. All of us are very interested in returning to the town and hopefully house again in the future.

Hospitable and friendly. Felt like it was no inconvenience to inquire on questions even though it shouldn’t really be a big deal if you have questions. They were responded too in detail and quickly. One thing to note is connecting to the WiFi.. you should literally be forwarded to their webpage to connect to internet once you enter the PW (as if you are in a plane connecting to WiFi).

Catherine’s little cabin was so Cozy and comfy. It was so nice to be able to have my sweet puppy with me to enjoy the adventure in a comfortable and safe place with a big outdoor area! I would totally recommend this cabin to anyone, especially traveling with a dog!

If you’re looking to stay in Pine, AZ, this is THE place to book! The home is immaculate and very well stocked; the beds are very comfortable and the three full baths (one on each level) are very clean! The house was perfect for our family getaway weekend! We loved the game room and playing corn hole. The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable. Michael and Barbara were excellent hosts, great at communication and very responsive. 5+ stars!

A few of my siblings and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and came upon this cabin. It was beautiful, the cabin was just as advertised. Clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed. We didn't have to go into town for anything. Caroline was super helpful and even made sure the fire nearby that was going on before our stay wasn't going to affect us. We definitely want to come back and make this cabin an annual siblings trip spot.

This was the perfect location and home for our family getaway. Strawberry is a quaint little town and the neighboring town of pine had just the right amount of amenities. The quiet neighborhood provided a place peaceful walks and the back deck was the perfect place to chill. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is so beautiful and peaceful it’s exactly like the pictures. If you need an escape from the city this is definitely the place to do it, Gino and Nigel where a very pleasant duo morning visits from Nigel were nice he’s such a good dog. The sound of wild animals filled the nights and the stars are a sight to see l, I’d recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was beautiful, plenty of sleeping space, fully stocked with everything we needed. My family enjoyed the entertainment, especially the arcade machine. The outdoor area was magnificent, we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the fire pit, and our daily visitors of elk that came to the property in the morning. Kathyann was a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful in guiding us throughout the stay. We would definitely come back to her place and strongly recommend.

This cabin is just wonderful. It is so beautifully decorated and completely equipped for your stay. We just could not have asked for more. We will definitely come back here if we’re looking to stay near Heber-overgaard.

Attention parents of small children: the kitchen was baby proofed! This wasn't something I expected or was concerned about, but what a treat to not have to worry about little hands getting into things. The outdoor deck was also enclosed so it was easy to let my little one roam and play. We especially enjoyed the loop around the property and did many laps with our toddler. We enjoyed all the game amenities and comfy outdoor seating. The option for either wood fire in a pit, or gas light table fire was awesome. The house had lots of great little touches, and everyone that joined us slept great. The kid bunk beds would work fine for shorter adults. Highly recommend, and would book again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It had everything we needed and more. The charging cables by the beds was a nice touch! The views were beautiful and the house was extremely comfortable!

Cute little cabin. Nice indoor jacuzzi. Flora was very reaponsive and gave great local recommendations. Nice star viewing. Short drive to Mogollon Rim. Would stay here again:)

We were in Pine/Strawberry for my son’s wedding and needed a place close to the venue. This place was perfect! Heather is awesome! So pleasant to deal with and very accommodating!! I don’t have a single negative thing to report about our stay! We even saw several elk roaming nearby! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Steve’s place was cozy and inviting! Perfect for enjoying the nature and surroundings. Just as described on the listing and very spacious. Steve was very communicative and we overall had a great time. We’d love to come back to Steve’s place next time we are in Pine!

We went up Thanksgiving to meet up with other families that stayed in cabins in the same area. This cabin was easy to find, the host messaged us before checkin to let us know it was ready which was really nice. The details were straight forward for checkin/out. We did have a little issue using the keypad but it was a matter of mistake with the code (not a big deal) We loved that our dogs could come. We were surprised about 2 bedrooms downstairs (we thought 1) and the loft was great with 2 beds. Bedding was soft & super warm. We liked the electric fire/heater was on when we arrived. The couch looked new & it was comfy. This cabin in unfussy and rustic, suited our needs. Only suggestion would be more lighting in the bedrooms, there's no ceiling lights, just lamps so it's pretty dim (this doesn't affect our 5 star rating, just for info to possible families) also the front door windows have no blinds or curtains, their completely open to see through (again doesn't affect rating) We enjoyed

Had a nice stay. Comfortable bed, was able to watch football and cook dinner. It was nice having coffee on the porch early morning. Probably beautiful when it’s snowing.

We can’t say enough great things about this cabin and our hosts. They were absolutely WONDERFUL and went above and beyond for us to make it the PERFECT trip. Wrote a huge chapter in their guest book because we were so pleased with everything! Immediately felt like home with all the amenities of home you could want and need. 10/10 we WILL STAY AGAIN. Hands down the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. Don’t miss out on the wildlife and hammocks and definitely book this stay!
