Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Miyagi

very pleasant stay in a very quiet corner of the island. the hosts were helpful and generous. the island is very walkable and offers beautiful views. absolutely coming back again for a longer stay!

Nice and cozy place to stay. Well equipped, clean, large and has a beautiful view. Host Tetsu is friendly. He gives clear instructions for everything in advance so that ppl can easily follow. We definitely had a great time here :)

The house is near Takayo-cho Onsen, there are convenience stores next to it, the house is clean and comfortable, it is close to hot spring, I will come again next time

Nice family stay. They were very friendly, and offer good snow gear renting discount, hot spring voucher, and booking restaurants. Good location, and clean house. Perfect place to stay. For those who can't stand too much cold, maybe consider wearing more when sleeping for it gets very cold at night, and the heater needs to be reset in a regular interval (not automatically). That's the only catch. The rest is perfect. I'd choose this place again.

We had a great stay. Check in was smooth, beautiful tatami floor and futon beds. Quiet neighborhood. Matsushima main station and the coast are close by. We can recommend both the close by Izakaya and Cafe which have lovely staff and atmosphere.

Loved location as it was peaceful and away from hustle and huddle but still within walking distance of the islands and trails.

Such a nice quiet place to stay near the coast. The space heater and heated rug in one of the rooms did wonders to keep the place warm during the winter while we were there. Sleeping pads and bedding were comfortable, and plenty extra can be found available in a closet if more support is needed. Family mart and 7-eleven convenience stores are located nearby, and both train stations are only a 12-16 minute walk away.
