Fantastic little lodge and very peaceful. Beautiful surroundings with great walks close by. Very easy to get to.

Really lovely stay near Ballyporeen. Tom was very responsive, accommodating, and flexible. The house itself was beautiful- absolutely spotless, and with all the furnishing and supplies to a very high standard. The cooking supplies were especially impressive, along with the fact that the house had a full-size oven. Beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

The best stay we have had in a while ,Unbelievable how quiet and private it is and just to hear nothing but silence ,everything we needed was there fresh bread butter milk everything couldn’t of asked for more ,hot tub was unbelievable under the stars looking above it was unbelievable thank you so much mairead and John, loved our stay and hope to see you again.

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The apartment was clean and worked perfectly for our needs. Our kids loved the donkeys and horse. The indoor pool was clean and well-maintained. The property is in a great location. We visited Cork, Blarney, Midleton and Cobh during our stay. Kieran recommended 3 local restaurant options all close by. We were able to try 2 of the 3 during our stay and both were great!

A lovely quaint cottage in the countryside with a nice mix of older charm and modern touches. The host and his father were helpful and polite even as we struggled to get the driveway gate open. Hint: park well back from the gate when you arrive; if you're too close to the sensor, it won't open. The hot tub is a rare and welcome amenity for the area - clean, well-maintained, exceedingly relaxing in the evenings. Thanks for a great stay!

Booked very last minute but arrived to beautiful warm home from home . Mary even popped in with fresh milk, eggs & bread ! Tea coffee cereal etc all available too ! Husband Morgan popped over - they live next door - a couple of times to ensure everything was ok!

We had a great time at the yurt! Fantastic location and hospitable hosts. The yurt was nice and cosy even in February and provided a lovely break from the city.

5/5 – Best Host Wasn’t Even Human! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with rolling pastures, friendly horses, and a welcome committee that includes the goodest big brown dog, look no further! Upon arrival, I was greeted not by the owner, but by their four-legged ambassador, who took his job of making guests feel at home very seriously. He escorted me to my door, supervised my unpacking, and occasionally checked in to make sure I hadn’t wandered off somewhere unsafe—like the snack cupboard without him. The horses are stunning, the scenery is serene, and the accommodation is cozy. But let’s be real—the real highlight of this trip was my fluffy concierge, who, for reasons unknown, decided I was worthy of his undivided attention. 10/10 would stay again. Oh, and the farm was nice too!
