I had been there before for a 1 day stay. It is a beautiful place and since I had to be in Mindanao for the holidays, I thought it would be a treat. I went there as a solo traveler. 3 days later I was hosting a traditional Philippines Christmas Party complete with a Lechon. 3 days earlier I had dinner with some new, local friends and we came up with the idea of a party. As soon as I mentioned it to Mary Joy, she presented me with all kinds of options I didn't know the hotel offered. 3 days later at little cost (relative to western standards) we had an event! I have never had such an experience at an Airbnb. I can't remember interacting with Mary Joy without hugging her. It is almost trite to say I was treated like family - but I was. Cannot reccommend the MJF Hotel highly enough..

The place was superb! Everything was provided, you only need to bring yourself and the food that you want to cook/eat. Also, the caretaker is such a sweetheart for helping us out! Will definitely come back and recommend this to others.
