Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Miramar, San Diego

Wow! What a breathtaking experience, we were also able to bring our fur babies. We even extended our trip an extra day! Cory also provided us with extra requests to use in the kitchen for our meals. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything and everything we needed. The beds were extra cozy, and bathrooms were so nice. Cory responded promptly whenever I had questions. We will be back.

The home was perfect! It is very well supplied and very walkable to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed playing the board games at night. Definitely would stay here again next time visiting Carlsbad.

We needed a last-minute place near family in San Diego during the holidays, and this spot was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and ideal for a stay with a baby. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The host Naomi was very nice and responsive.

Ken’s place was amazing. It is such a quiet, safe neighborhood. It was like being at our own home away from home.

Great place to stay!

We had a nice stay. The house is comfortable and very livable. We were there for about a month and we felt very comfortable and at home. We have friends that live in the area and it was nice to be able to share a meal with them comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to get around. The house was "family friendly" which was just what we needed. Our son, grandson and daughter-in-law, joined us for a week and the house worked perfectly.

We loved Kevin's place. It was well kept, matched the description perfectly and worked great for our stay.

Mary and Tony were amazing and attentive hosts and you can’t beat the location! Surrounded by water and beautiful beaches in every direction. We were there over New Years Eve and on top of a little welcome basket, they provided us with New Years hats and noise makers for the festivities. Very thoughtful. We were traveling with our 11 month old and I was very grateful that the they had a pack n play and baby tub (they only have a shower at the Airbnb, so baby tub was a necessity!). The stairs up to the Airbnb are steep, but they do have a baby gate. I didn’t really trust the gate, so kept my little one away from that area altogether (I would maybe recommend a gate that bolts into the wall for better security). We had everything we needed there and felt very much at home. We will definitely stay there when we come back. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mary and Tony!!! :)

Loved our stay here. Short walk to the beach and to shopping. Neighbors were very helpful with recommendations. Place was cozy. Fans in each bedroom!! Enjoyed our stay!!

We stayed at Lindsey’s place while our daughters were playing in the Surf Cup at Oceanside. The location is great. Short driving distance to most places that you want to go in the area. The complex has many amenities such as pool, hot tub, exercise room. The unit is spacious and has everything you need. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Lindsey!

Everything was great. Plenty of places to walk to. The only downside of the location is that there isn't really any outside space to hang out in that we could see, and the 5 highway was right next to the property so it was very loud outside. Once you were inside, the noise wasn't a problem. The location is near the beach and many restaurants and shops and the hosts are more than happy to provide recommendations, so the lack of outdoor space wasn't really a big deal. The only reason I mention it is that I, personally, like to sit outside and have my coffee in the morning. I would highly recommend the property.

This place has a great location The decor was nice. Really close to the beach.

We were in town because a close family member had passed away and we needed to make arrangements. We needed an affordable clean space with plenty of beds. This is exactly what we got! Plus a beautiful view to boot. The beach is within easy walking distance! (Hopefully I can stay again in the summer for an actual good time.) The parking can be tricky because it’s only street parking, but that’s to be expected in San Diego even in the off season. Our hosts were kind and friendly with us offering anything we needed, but really we had everything from dishes to a toaster to extra pillows.

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

We had an incredible time in Mission Beach, San Diego and Carlos's place was the ideal place. It is steps from the beach with plenty of shops to go to. The place had everything we need and was very nice, comfortable and clean. Carlos was very accommodating and quick to respond to all messages. I'll spare the details, but we had a stressful time navigating airbnb prior to arriving here, but he was able to quickly get his place ready and provide us with a safe and beautiful home. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and will definitely consider booking again ourselves when visiting SD.

We had a great stay at Steffanie’s place. It looked just like the pictures and was just steps to the beach. The area is very vibrant and you see people from all walks of life but we felt safe and walked to dinner most nights. I would note that the stairs are a little steep but we didn’t have any problems navigating them. We would definitely stay again.

This place is an affordable place for families. We appreciated all of the equipment to use- boogie boards, wet suits, fishing rods and bikes. Thank you!

The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the pictures are accurate. The host was very easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

I have never been more satisfied with an Airbnb stay. Susan proactively communicated with us and shared instructions clearly. Her place was clean and spacious and had wonderfully easy to find amenities. Traveling with kids I so appreciated the plentiful towels, beach towels, beach toys and games for our family vacation!

Jesse was extremely proactive in reaching out to me to confirm my early arrival request. He was very clear with his directions and instructions and prompt to respond when I reached out to him. The unit was exactly as described and not only checked off all of the boxes that we had, but included some additional bonuses. Great value, right off the beach, first floor, washer and dryer included, with two parking spaces. That is pretty much unheard of in that area! Should I need accommodations in San Diego again, I will absolutely reach out to inquire if Jesse's place is available again.

We enjoyed staying at Junn's place. Coffee and creamer was available and the bed was great- we had no problem setting a full night's rest. Nice that a washer/dryer was available, we did wash some clothes. The area seemed very safe and we had no trouble finding the parking place and apartment.
