Places to stay in Mills River

Had a great stay! Wonderful cozy studio for solo travelers or couples. Location, hot tub, and experience with the host(s) are my top highlights. Had the pleasure of meeting Brett and he was so kind. Very responsive. Clean place, comfortable and nicely decorated. Look forward to coming back.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay with Brookes was. She was kind, attentive, patient, and welcomed us with the most open arms. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived till we were hugging each other on the way out. It feels like we just gained a new mountain auntie! Brookes’ property is absolutely magical and we will be coming back again soon!

We had such a lovely time! This was the perfect place to stay to explore Asheville. Clinton went above and beyond as a host. I hope we can come back someday :)

My husband and I stayed at Terry’s place while we explored the blue ridge area. It was the perfect location. The place is exactly as described. Terry’s home is warm and welcoming, has all the amenities and comforts from home. She has put a lot of thought into the home and special touches to make her guests feel welcomed. Ruth was a wonderful, friendly, and responsive host. My dogs and I stayed in Ruth’s place for 11 days while we were between leases. The washing and drying machines worked wonderfully. We bring all of our own blankets, but Ruth also provided blankets if pets were going to be on the furniture. The space is a fully finished basement apartment, so you don’t have control of the AC/Heat was Ruth was super responsive and adjusted for us as needed. My only suggestion would be to provide another fan or two for people who get hit easily. The neighborhood was also very nice and quiet. We loved our time there : )

I absolutely loved the loft! Big beautiful living room, with plenty of sitting room. The kitchen was gorgeous. I could have cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for 15 and would have had all the amenities you need in a home kitchen. The bedroom is wonderfully spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was so big! The shower was large and had great water pressure! I loved staying here! Everything you need is within walking distance. Certainly a 5 star experience 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sara’s place, it was exactly as described, easy to find and in a great area close to Biltmore. The place was very well stocked, nice and unexpected extras that were a great touch. Highly recommend. Dave

This cabin is adorable. Perfect for couples and small families. The view from the cabin is beautiful and amazing access to a gorgeous mountain stream, and plenty of land to explore.

Every time we stay at one of Alyssa and Brian’s homes, it feels like coming back to a place we truly love. They are the kind of hosts who make all the difference—thoughtful, welcoming, and always ensuring everything is just right. That’s why we keep coming back! This cabin is absolutely beautiful, with unbelievable views that take your breath away. Whether we were sitting on the front porch, enjoying a quiet morning, or watching the sunset over the mountains, it was pure magic. The setting is peaceful and private, yet still close enough to town when we needed it. The new game room was such a fun addition—our whole family had the best time playing together! And the cabin truly had everything we needed, making our stay effortless and comfortable. If you haven’t stayed at one of Alyssa and Brian’s places yet, you’re missing out. You won’t be disappointed!
