This was our second time staying here for our family Christmas party and it never disappoints. Beautiful and peaceful location, plenty of room for the 11 of us and they are always so accommodating. It can be difficult when you have family coming from multiple locations and they always do their very best to work with us. Thank you so much to John and Sharon for allowing my family to make more memories in your home. Merry Christmas from the Walter family!

This is perfect for an individual or a couple to enjoy a stay at a wonderful guest house. I was there in the winter so could not use the outdoor pizza oven or the fire pit (rained a lot) on a raised deck. The kitchen I used for my entire stay and the appliances are first rate and the kitchen had a nice island for prep. Would be nice if a table with 4 chairs was added so I had a place to both work on my computer and eat while looking out at the gorgeous countryside. King bed is SUPER comfy. Great place for someone to stay in Happy Valley who is there to travel around. Home base for me during my 3 day stay.

We had a great stay with Family for the Holiday weekend. Plenty of space in a beautiful but simple home. Would come back anytime.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jill's home. She was great at providing information prior to check-in. Once we were there, everything was totally clear, and we didn't have ask for assistance. The home was just as described and even more lovely than the pictures, with so many unique decorative elements. It was so cozy, comfortable, and functional. We liked the open living area and the privacy of the bedrooms. Very nice and relaxing outside in the evening and on the crisp fall mornings. It was great being there for the end of daylight savings time, so we had an extra hour to our stay. We were in the area for the Penn State vs. Ohio State game and to visit our son who is a student. So, we didn't spend a lot of time in the immediate area but would love to come back. P.S. I am very sorry that I forgot to sign the guest book - all good things to say!

Great place to stay if you're a hunter. We were in town for a wedding. Not exactly what i expected. But the place had plenty of room and 3 usable bathrooms. It was clean for the most part. We had to take our trash with us which was unusual. The scenery was beautiful. world's recommend for campers and hunters.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very welcoming A little older home not updated but clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a great weekend. Sleeps ALOT and we used every bed. Another really nice thing was there were spices, coffee, hot chocolate & plastic wrap available. So handy. I would definitely stay again.

My three sons and some friends stayed at John’s place for a weekend at Camp Woodward. John’s place was perfect! They had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed grilling on the deck and hanging around the fire pit in the evenings. John and Cody were awesome hosts. We will definitely book again!

What an incredible place to stay! This is a big old house with lots of wonderful surprises--a kids' nook with great toys, books for kids and adults, a s'mores kit in the larder, interesting art, great outdoor space...everything you could possibly want. There's even a cabinet with a sign that says it has antique serving dishes from the 1800s, and guests should "feel free to use any of these items." I have never felt so strongly, staying in an Airbnb, that the hosts were clearly deeply kind and lovely people. The house obviously means a lot to them, and we felt right at home there.
