Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Millinocket

My husband and I—and our dog—could not have been happier with our stay at Rice Farm Hideaway. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and extremely clean. The kitchen was well-appointed, which was great as we cooked Thanksgiving dinner while there. The house is set back far enough from the road (which isn't very busy) to feel very private. Nancy was quick to respond to all inquiries and also very nice! It snowed a bit more than we were expecting, so some of our plans for hiking were reconsidered; however, we did do the beautiful 4-mile Bait Hole Loop, which was one of Nancy's suggestions. Really great place!

This trip has become an annual tradition. It was an awesome stay, as usual, so much fun. The house has been the perfect base for Millinocket adventures.

Am already planning another trip to ME partly just to stay at this gem of a place! Incredibly cozy cabin/rustic home type feel with fresh eggs provided by the hosts. Very well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, seasonings and a dishwasher. Very responsive, friendly hosts who even called about ETA so that they could start the fireplaces in time :) Not the largest space for common spaces but very well decorated + cozy, great for a relatively large group (3 pairs). Bedroom spaces are a-plenty

Dragonwood was an excellent property for a large group! The kitchen was well-stocked, rooms were outfitted with plenty of sheets/blankets/towels, and the location was beautiful. The host was very responsive and was even able to help us with a car that was stuck in the snow as we were checking out. Would highly recommend for large groups looking for a very unique place to stay in the woods of Mine!

House looked just like the pictures and, as a 50-something person, I loved the instructions in the Trapper Keeper. The hosts were responsive to questions before check in. Best things - dog friendly and dog welcoming (loved that there were poop bags), and kitchen was so well stocked with variety of pots and pans so I could make a home cooked meal for my U of Maine student. Thank you for having coffee. We cannot wait to stay here again for our next visit

Nice, older country house in a small town that is very pleasant to stay in. Ashley is without question, one of the nicest and attentive hosts I've encountered. The location is close enough to get to great mountain and river activities with an hours drive.

Great stay in this beautiful house. Updated and modern, warm in cold weather. Note there is no shower downstairs by the larger bedroom in case that matters. Kitchen very well stocked. Beautiful home!

Carols farmhouse is lovely! We had an amazing time enjoying the pool, roaming the grounds and watching the horses. Carol is an awesome host, she made sure we knew all details of her home and pool, and was so great to chat and connect with. She even gave our kiddos a tour of the barn and introduced us all to the horses, and her amazing dog Billie Jean. This was such an awesome opportunity and we enjoyed every second, we ended up adding a day to our trip. Can’t say enough about this home and host, thanks for everything Carol!

We loved our stay at Jason’s place! We had 10 total people staying for Labor Day weekend - 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We all had plenty of room, the house was gorgeous - especially the kitchen and living room! We used the pool, the lake (kayaks and canoes - lots of life jackets to choose from), the basketball court and were so thankful for the option to rent the pontoon boat! My son had a great time fishing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We also had fun checking out nearby antique shops one morning & going into Bangor one evening for dinner. We will be back!

Great stay, convenient to patten / shin pond areas. Room for the whole family and dog. An older cabin but clean with 2 functional kitchens, a full size bed and several bunks.

I’ve been traveling to the state of Maine for over 50 years and I’ve never rented a cabin with the owner so as responsive, polite and very informative great experience and I’m already planning another return trip thank you

It's a perfect home, perfect deck, huge kitchen and beautiful yard. My friends and families go through a perfect time for leaves hunting. We will come back again!

Out of all the rentals I have stayed at this one takes the cake. The area is so beautiful and peaceful.....magical! If you love camping and the outdoors don't hesitate to book this cabin. You are right on the lake where you can kayak, canoe, fish, etc. (The only ones on the lake). The view of the mountains are incredible from the lake. If you have a snowmobile or ATV you are in heaven with the cabin right off of the Katahdin Region Multi Use Trail road. Close to hiking at Baxter State Park, exploring on the Golden Road and other hiking trails near the Mt. Katahdin area. This cabin is an outdoor enthusiasts dream. We enjoyed the woodstove at night, the firepit outside, the propane lights and stove were just enough needed to cook and spend quality family time around the table playing games. It was nice to unplug from reality for a few days. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! We had an amazing time! You had everything we needed in the cabin!

This was rented for my daughter and her fiancé for the weekend of their wedding. It was perfect inside and out. They squeezed a minute in to throw a few casts out and even took another minute to row in a canoe. One particular highlight that will forever be a memory is seeing my daughter’s surprised look upon seeing Captain Jack Sparrow in the living room. 😂 It was a great weekend!! Thank you for making our accommodations feel like home.

The cottage was perfect for our visit. It was spotless and comfortable. We would highly recommend it and hope to stay again! Kevin was responsive to anything we asked prior to our stay. Scott has been my favorite AirBnB host I have had! He proactively messaged us, answered all of our questions, and he greeted us upon arrival to explain everything. The stay itself was so comfortable and he has built out a cute walking path and area to enjoy common outdoor spaces. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.
