We (2 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 4.5 years) really enjoyed our stay at the pool house of Roberto and his mother. The furnishings with kitchen and bathrooms were excellent, and everything was sparkling clean. Our children especially enjoyed the pool! The garden with the many olive trees and palm trees was a beautiful retreat. The information about the surrounding area that Roberto provided was extremely helpful. We took some great trips, including to Milazzo, Marinello, Cefalù, Taormina and even Mount Etna. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area that we tried. Our children especially loved the pizzas at the Al Borgo restaurant. We can 100% recommend a stay here!

We stayed for a week during New Year. With a two families, in total 9 people. Great place and great host. The surroundings and views are beautiful. The property has everything including a lot of fruit trees. You are close to the beach and there is a nice family style bakery and restaurant right around the corner. The house is next to a highway. You do notice at first, but after a couple of hours it’s not a big deal. There was a problem with the electricity but Mauricio handled it well and quickly. He is a great host.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Everything is great. The house is very spacious, with everything you need. The garden area and pool are the best. I would definitely come back.

Great place for families; beautiful village(only downside is that it is 40min drive from coast and that roads are really narrow); good base to go to Stromboli/Vulcano; Marco was super responsive

Franco is an exemplary host who tries to accommodate you as much as possible. The apartment is great and in a typical Sicilian village where you can find everything you need. I really enjoyed this unique experience to stay on a high-elevation, working cattle ranch, where you can look as far as you want in any direction without seeing another building. This was a more rugged and isolated and wild side of Sicily that I hadn't seen before, and we had fun exploring the area.

Beautiful place. Worthy of a 2-3 day stay. Barbara goes out of her way to help her guests. I highly recommend this location.

The apartment is 2 minutes from the old town, opposite the cable car. It is beautiful and sparkling clean. It has 2 bedrooms each with a very well-maintained bathroom, a small kitchen and a living room. A huge wonderful terrace is outside the door with a view of the cable car station. I've been to a lot of AirBnBs, but that was by far the best. We accepted the offer from Francesca's father to rent the garage in front of the house, so we had no problems with parking. Otherwise, there is a parking garage a little further down under the cable car.

A simple but beautiful villa with plenty of space, several terraces and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. From there you can explore the area on foot or by car and you can discover something new every day. Be it the Castello, the Capo Milazzo or the old and new center of the city. The house is simply furnished, not up to date, but this also has its charm. Yes, there are no real showers or air conditioning, but this has been made up for by the view, the spacious garden and much more. I would like to highlight Alessandra and her family. Super friendly, helpful and respond very nicely and promptly to inquiries. Thank you for 2 great weeks in Sicily.

Very quiet and clean apartment with all needed equipment and appliances. We felt like home. It was very nice to meet Silvana’s husband, he is very welcoming and good person. Thank you very much!

Giuseppe is an exceptional host, very helpful and available. The village of Motta Camastra is very nice and the view is sublime. We were lucky to be there during the 2 days of the village festival so we could enjoy the concerts, fireworks, processions, illuminations and brass band. The apartment is very functional, well located in the village and allows you to enjoy the various visits to do in the vicinity including Etna. We regret not staying longer!

If this is available you should book! The view from the terrace with your morning cafe or evening meal is ideal. We stayed 3 nights in this hidden gem. The beds comfortable and overall well stocked for your family’s needs. Roberto will come to check on you and ensure you are well. He had good recommendations. While ideal for having a car if you want to visit the restaurants nearby, we managed by foot. Bit of a walk to the center for a meal, but overall it can be done. Many of the restaurants across from the marina on the opposite by the sea were closed, but those in the marina still served. There is a market nearby and another in the center of the marina. There are many boats to be booked. Overall, in October, was a bit on the quite side which we appreciated. One flight of stairs and a view to be remembered!

This cute apartment in Taormina exceeded our expectations. It was spotless and in an excellent location so close to the main strip.

The host is an old man who is going to be 90 years old.The old gentleman will be very enthusiastic about the condition of the place, where to rent a car, and which spots to go, where to eat local food?Although he is not very fluent in English, he will be very patient with the conversation with you through Google Translate.Although the location of the accommodation is not very convenient, it is very convenient to rent a small car as a mobile transportation, Taiwanese people are recommended to come to this place to stay.

We loved the house of Jaco, it had an amazing view and is super quiet. We made an phenomenal BBQ outside on the grill. We will come back for sure. Felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We have a wonderful 10 day stay at Gaetono’s place. He was so helpful from start to finish - answering all our questions and met us on arrival to show us where to go. He had very kindly got some delicious local treats for us to enjoy when we arrived as well as some yummy wine! The location was right in the heart of Taormina. Easy walking distance to the amphitheatre which was incredible as well the steep but well worth it walk to the castle at the top with incredible 360 views and a very friendly bar at the top. We took the bus from the airport which was very easy and almost door to door. We also discovered a wonderful local bakery within metres of our apartment. We would recommend Arco Rosso as a great place for bruschetta and a carafe of wine as well as Bam Bar for amazing granita and brioche. The cable car down to the beach was fun. We also enjoyed a lovely walk down the steps to Isola Bella. For a quieter beach we took the local bus to Letojanni.

Helga's place was very conveniently located to the historic center of Taormina - less than a 5-minute walk to the Porta Messina. There are some stairs and grade changes to get there, but it's not a big deal unless you are mobility impaired. The apartment is located in a condominium building with a fantasic view north up the coast. There's a spacious patio (which we would've used a lot had it not rained every day!!) to take advantage of the view. The communal infinity pool also looked amazing but, again, the weather didn't cooperate. In the summer, it must be great! The place is well-furnished and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was well-equipped (though a few more bath/shower amenities would have been nice) and also spacious. On-site garage parking meant we didn't have to deal with any parking hassles and there was an elevator to get us and our luggage up to the apartment. Directions were very clear and Helga sent her housekeeper to meet us personally. Highly recommended

If you’re looking for a safe, secure, and spacious accommodation that feels isolated but is right next to everything you need to see in Taormina then you found the spot. The apartment has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Sicilian coastline and neighboring Calabria. Beautiful pool, gardens, and easy access to the Main Street of Taormina. The place was stocked with supplies, plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, some food, and a delicious bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Highly recommend for a first time visit to the area!

We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

Guilia's place is spectacular! It's better than the photos with gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, city and even Calabria in the distance. The grounds are immaculate with a huge private terrace for meals and drinks and a massive pool that feels like your own private resort. Giulia's family lives in the other units and were always friendly and helpful but not intrusive in the least. Even Papaya the dog knew when to leave us to ourselves lol! The interior is pristine and spacious. As many have pointed out the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. So you are very close to all the restaurants and shops but away from the tourist hordes. Taormina is hilly but most of the walk is relatively flat. Traffic is not a worry, we did not encounter much of it on our walks. Also, Italian drivers, although speedy, are careful and well aware of pedestrians. Giulia is a fantastic host, always quick to provide recommendations and respond to our questions. Wish we could have stayed forever!
