Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Midland

My wife and I stayed here for a reading retreat for a long weekend. The house was amazing and was one of the cleanest/most updated places we have stayed. The hot tub was amazing as was the kitchen. It was worth the money paid.

We came to the area from out of town for a funeral and made arrangements for a place to stay at the last minute. Jeremy's ad specifically required a two night booking but I messaged him asking if he would consider allowing us to stay for one night considering the circumstances and he agreed. He was very responsive every time I reached out prior to the stay and during. The house was clean and a perfect size for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to cook in. The neighborhood was walkable and felt safe. It was a comfortable space that most definitely beat getting a hotel room!

This was our second stay at Luke’s property. Their home is cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is on a quiet road in one of the most beautiful, peaceful settings in which we’ve ever stayed. Luke and Angie are wonderful, accommodating hosts — they gave us lots of privacy but were very responsive and helpful with our questions and concerns. I’d highly recommend any of their listings.

Beautiful home that gives you an isolated feeling of being in the woods, but is close to anything you can think of, the perfect peaceful getaway. Candy was a pleasure and more worried about my comfort than I was, this was my second stay at her home and already looking forward to staying again next year.

What a gem Clark’s place is! The home itself is gorgeous, unique, extremely clean, and full of thoughtful artistic touches from Clarke. Tons of space and light inside. The house is like an art exhibit itself. We so enjoyed staying here and taking in the house! It’s also super usable— we cooked a lot in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. Rooms were comfortable as well. Beautiful and quiet, private surroundings. I imagine in the summer it’s beautiful too! Clark was one of the most hospitable hosts we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. Not only through the thoughtful touches in the house, but he was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. He came by to introduce himself and walked us through some steps with the wood burning fireplace, and even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy- so thoughtful! Downtown Midland is super close by and has several really good restaurants and coffee shops.

The house was clean and very well stocked with everything that we might need. Lesa’s instructions were helpful. Kitchen appliances were all newer and worked very well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Just came home from a 2 night stay with my girlfriends and we had a delightful time! The house was very clean, and actually bigger than what we thought. Deb provided snacks, and wine that we enjoyed. There were 5 of us and we are all moms.. granted we didn’t bring our kiddos, the house was definitely ready for kids, AND pets! Lots of extra blankets as well, which some of the girls were very grateful for. The house was close to frankenmuth, and the outlets and was easy to find. We are already talking about booking another trip in the future.

House was exactly as described. Easy check in, check out process. Would recommend Lori's place to anyone coming into town, and needing a very clean place to stay.

My wife and I reserved Karin’s place in downtown Chesney for a day R&R. This place was perfect! It was peaceful and quite very comfortable and Karin has taken great care of all the details. From coffee to snacks from A-to-Z this place has everything covered .!! We definitely recommend Karin’s place !

We’ve stayed in a number of AirBnBs over the years, this may be one of the nicest! Simple, clean, quiet, walking/biking trail nearby. This host has thought of just about everything you would need. Very comfortable bed, kitchen is small but more than adequate for a couple on vacation. We only cooked breakfast but could have done much more. Extremely great value for our 5 day stay. Midland is a beautiful city!

Shana and Tracy were very welcoming and communicative. I definitely enjoyed my stay and It was hassle free.

Kathy was unbelievably kind and responsive throughout the entirety of the trip. Home was very warm and welcoming with fantastic amenities. Had a great time with the family exploring all that Frankenmuth has to offer. Thanks for a lovely time and great accommodations!

Stayed for 15 days. This place is a great alternative to a hotel at about the same price. This is a nice neighborhood, quite yard, and very walkable for exercise. Great easy to get to location. When we had a problem with Spectrum wifi going out, Tamara was a bulldog, staying on it until it was completely done the same day. We recommend this place and will stay again if needed. Thank you!!

Next time I come to Alma, I will certinly make sure to stay in one of Brandyi's places. Everything was perfect, much better than I could have imagined and Brandi took care of everything.

Cindy was soooooo wonderful! I had some issues with links and such from Airbnb but she helped me get the answers I was looking for! The house itself was soooo amazingly comfortable and quiet!!! My dog was so comfortable there as well, and that is huge for me. I plan on using this location when I need to visit the area!

Great little cabin! Homey and inviting. Nice views and well priced. Everything you’ll need is there for a little getaway. Mardi was responsive and even let us check out later even when we didn’t ask for that! Pretty cool place. Very chill. Only thing we didn’t really care about was for was the moth ball smell as soon as we walked in. Great place overall! Would stay again.

Cabin was very nice. No Wi-Fi as noted in the listing but service was good enough to stay connected.

Beautiful, quiet, cute, and clean! Great location in between Birch Run and Frankenmuth. Just the right amount of seclusion but very close to the city. Very responsive when I messaged due to a slippery porch. They came and salted right away. Only suggestion is to maybe have paper shades or blinds for privacy especially for when walking from the bath to bedroom. It is pretty private but if someone walked up on the porch they can see into the bathroom and bedroom. We stayed two nights but only had two towels and two washcloths. I’m sure if I would have called the owners would have been responsive. All in all great place. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place for waterfowl hunters and any other outdoorsman or even a get away from home for a while It was all in working order when we got there everything was nice and clean good place to stay for the price

The view from the porch of Saginaw Bay provided a lingering sunrise that transports upon every remembrance. Thank you for a lovely stay.

First, Kim (or Kimberly) was phenomenally responsive, it's great when someone makes it a priority to respond to you quickly, meaning within 15 minutes in this case. Personally, I love landscapes such as the one this property is on, so 10/10 for location. Similar to other reviews there were plenty of blankets, candles, lanterns, etc. If you're looking to get away from the noise and hustle of city life, this is a fantastic place to do so. From talking to them, Kim's husband who I believe is named Jeff, used to have a construction business, and I can tell that he and Kim have transferred their customer service skills from that over to this. I could definitely see myself going back.

We stayed for weekend and were really impressed with Cherisson Place. It was very relaxing to sit by the water and enjoy a bonfire. The neighborhood was quiet and there were lots of choices to sit and relax outside. The inside was beautiful and we enjoyed playing cards at the table. Our dog felt right at home and enjoyed the sunlight in the morning with the shades down in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances were just the right size for our weekend.
