Our stay at Christie’s place was just lovely! Christie was very communicative and responsive. The cabin was so clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, as the snow had just fallen. We enjoyed the peace and quiet outside in the hot tub, and even saw several deer. We would definitely return again!

The cozy cabin in Virginia was the perfect retreat! Secluded yet close to charming small towns in West Virginia, it offered the best of both worlds—peace, privacy, and easy access to nature. The cabin was well-stocked with firewood and all listed amenities, making the stay seamless. Oscar’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. The outdoor tub took a little effort to get going, but once it did, it was a divinely unique experience! The fireplace worked perfectly, setting the scene for cozy nights. The home was in pristine condition, with every detail thoughtfully considered & perfectly decorated. Oscar’s hospitality and communication were top-notch, making the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature and hiking trails, this is the place to be!

First off, beautiful property and neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities. The upstairs shower head came loose the first night and sprayed water everywhere, but this should be repaired at the time I’m writing this review. The hot tub is fairly new and adequately sized for the amount of guests the property is for. However, it was not working to its full potential during our stay, only heating up to 85 degrees. It may have just needed more water to function properly, and the host was willing to guide us through it despite the frozen water hoses, but due to the snowfall and low temperatures during our stay we decided to not bother with it. And just like the description mentions; be sure to have a capable vehicle if it’s going to be snowing, we did get stuck in the driveway and had to get pulled out of the snow which damaged our van. Overall, we would recommend this property if you’re looking for an isolated mountain getaway.

We had the dreamiest stay! It snowed 3-4 inches so the house was cozy and had everything we needed. We cooked in the kitchen, read on the couch, had a puzzle going on the coffee table, and spent a ton of time in the hot tub! Couldn’t have asked for anything else! The house was incredibly clean and we all slept well on the beds.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, private property. The hot tub and fire pit made this the perfect winter getaway. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare quick meals. Derek was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions.

We had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we could need and Elvin was communicative. We will be back.

Elizabeth's cabin was incredible! It was so remote (AWD is definitely necessary during the winter), peaceful, and cozy. We saw incredible stars, enjoyed the hot tub, and were able to play in the snow in the backyard. When a snowstorm blanketed the area the day before we were supposed to leave, Elizabeth made sure that a plow came so we could safely leave. She was very communicative and helpful throughout. We hope to return and enjoy other seasons there as well!

Jan was a great host and the property was phenomenal. Quiet, cozy and as advertised with great views, easy access to local activities and safe. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

Great peaceful place on the river. Perfect for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and spending time with family. John was very helpful and friendly. We live on a farm and have 2 dogs that are not usually leashed. So I guess the only down fall was having to worry about them wandering into neighboring yards… we are not used to that. Other than that the place was perfect.

This cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities needed for travel. The neighbor feeds deer in the morning and my kids loved seeing so many deer in the woods! The cabin is clean and as described. The game room was a huge hit and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

We were looking for a quiet escape from the city and this place met that perfectly! We brought our dog and she was unrecognizably calm in the peaceful house/neighborhood. Beautiful views from the back balcony and taking the views in from the hot tub was a treat. The house is cozy and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking staples, including spices. It was our first time using a pellet stove and it was very effective at keeping the house warm. We went through the pellets quickly because of how cold it was, and the hosts were very responsive at getting new pellets delivered quickly. We had an issue getting into the house on our check-in day, but the hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to make the situation right for us. Would love to go back!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This was a perfect weekend getaway with our pup. He loved running through the yard and the 3 acres being fenced was great! Christine and Donna were very responsive throughout our stay and it was a very well stocked house. We can’t wait to stay here again in the future!

A perfect small cabin the woods. The location is perfect if you’re hiking, winery hopping, or just relaxing indoors. Even in the winter, the cabin stays very warm. Thanks to Reagan for a nice stay and quick answers to questions.

Such a unique property; truly one of a kind. We saw so much wildlife, absolutely LOVED the cabin, and the property is absolute stunning! Michelle was wonderful and very responsive. We are already planning to come back this summer with the kids.

I very much enjoyed my stay here while visiting Virginia. The location was very peaceful with its surrounding areas and views. The host (Su) was very responsive and friendly as well, they made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. Would stay here again in the future.

Our favorite part of the cabin were all of the details throughout. The mix of slate, natural stone, and woodwork made us feel like we were in a storybook cottage. It was the perfect place for the family to spend time by the fire between ski days. The driveway was challeging for our vehicles but we made it work

Awesome stay and beautiful view! Unfortunately had to cut the trip short because of snow, but Jared was kind enough to give us a heads up.

The Shed was the perfect place to relax and recharge for my family's annual end of year/new year's trip. The house was clean. The main living area was wonderful to unwind and spend quality time. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and the firepit outside. The property was beautiful and especially exciting for our 4 year old and our dog. The location was terrific for our trip to Shenandoah. We also had a great time at Luray Caverns. A pleasant surprise was the walking path through town. We made use of it two of our days. Front Porch coffee was also a convenient frequent spot we visited. All in all, awesome. We hope to return. Thank you and Happy New Year, Rich!

If you want a quiet and beautiful weekend to just get away from the noise of our society this is the place! Stunning views, clean, and cozy.

This was a very nostalgic trip as it was our second time staying at Marty and Melanie’s property. We got married there the first time and celebrated our 4 year anniversary the second time. Mellanie went out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience both times. Would definitely continue to make return visits as we love the property and all the area has to offer.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great post Christmas trip to the region. We actually felt the photos didn't do it justice and it's a little cuter and nicer than we were expecting!

We adored this place. The dogs had a GREAT time romping around in the snow, we cooked every night, and we took lovely morning walks every day up and down the lane and around the local trails. This home is private with plenty of space between neighbors, easy to find, and has a wonderful little view. The hot tub with a television is an absolutely superb touch, they did a beautiful job curating the space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the house was clean, the bathroom had clean and fresh towels, and the bedrooms were lovely and clean with sliding glass doors to spend time on the porch. The hosts were so incredibly kind, quick, and responsive. We had a little trouble getting up the icy driveway (4WD really is a must in the winter months) and they were so quick to respond with help and resources. We had a great time here, and it means so much to us that our dogs were graciously invited. Clean, safe, beautiful. 10/10.
