What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful location and the space was perfect to relax and unwind surrounded by lovely gardens. Annabelle was a wonderful host, so welcoming, helpful and kind. We slept so well in the cosy beds, and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We certainly hope we can visit again.

Comfort and calm near Somme Bay

It was a perfect peaceful getaway for a family of 4 with the children aged 3.5 and just turned 2. The house has everything you need inside and climbing frame and trampoline outside perfect for wearing the children out. Aurlien was kind enough to set up fishing rods for us to go fishing and catching one is a great memory from our stay. The village is very peaceful and everyone we met friendly, there are busier towns within a 10 minute drive and the coast 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend a stay, (the children also slept amazingly due to the black out shutters on every window).

A perfect weekend to take time and slow down. The cabin is perfectly well equipped and the view facing the lake offered us a magnificent full moon rise and sunrise in the early morning. Right next to the Parc du Marquenterre, a must-visit, and close to the beautiful beaches of the Baie de Somme. Really a peaceful oasis to disconnect. Thank you Sébastien

Perfect place with good branded amenities. My husband enjoyed cooking. Everything was working well. We never took the car. We took advantage of the terrace and its layout . Our nights were peaceful. Good bedding. And thank you for the nice table center for Easter. It felt like home. Plus the weather was great! I recommend it 200%. Pierre and Marie

We had a great time at this beautiful home, clean, well maintained and well equipped. The location is ideal, very quiet and a few minutes walk to the center of Saint-Valery. Corinne is a very welcoming and friendly host. Communication was smooth and enjoyable, and her many recommendations allowed us to fully enjoy the surroundings. A big thank you for this great experience! We'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Saint-Valery.

Bonjour, We had a pleasant stay at Elodie and Ludovic's house. The accommodation is very clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet. Check-in and check-out are facilitated by a key box that allows flexibility in schedules. Élodie is very responsive in messaging. Anyway... I would recommend this listing!

A bijou Gite just 40-odd minutes from Calais with parking for one vehicle. Excellent communication and welcoming from our hosts. The Gite was certainly warm and cosy thanks to its independent heating in all rooms and the additional pellet burner - after we had mastered its sulks when asking it to light. (Note to self: read the instructions, even though they re in French!) The sitting room is cosy, with copious decorations and cushions galore to sink into, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. The jewel in the crown is certainly the bathroom with its ultra modern design and shower. The bedroom was comfortable, if a little challenging; it would probably better suit a single person than two aged codgers – one of whom had difficulty manoeuvring round the bed to get in the other side. All in all we had an enjoyable few days, with the miles of sandy beach at Stella Plage and enjoyable meanderings around ancient Montreuil – each of which is within 15 minutes drive.

Great weekend at Rémy's. Family stay with a 7-year-old child and a 4-month-old baby. We loved it. The accommodation is equipped to accommodate a baby, we just had to think about the stroller. This is a house where you feel good. It's peaceful and pleasant. We will recommend and come back. Clean and tastefully decorated.

hello, Philippe welcomed us very warmly and we loved staying in this house where you can live inside/outside thanks to the veranda. Everything is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the essentials. The bedding is impeccable and very comfortable. Finally, the location is central and close to shops. In short, a stay that we recommend.

Cosy and comfortable stay for three adults. Detailed instructions on arrival and suggestions for activities and food locally. Joel and his lovely assistant greeted us on arrival at the property with clear instructions and a welcome gift. Towels and bed linen included. Everything was spotless. Great local restaurants and lovely location. Free parking is great. WiFi. Saw a squirrel and a woodpecker in the grounds of the residence, so secluded but with good local access.
