We loved staying at this place for a weekend! It was beautifully designed and the family living in the attached house was extremely welcoming and helpful. We did not expect to see another living there, it was surprising but not at all bad or uncomfortable. The Airbnb was so cozy and perfect for a couple looking to get away. We would 100% recommend!

We primarily stayed in the house for just the nights. It was quiet. We appreciated that at this time in our life. Everything seemed nice, clean and comfortable. We booked at the last minute and extended our stay. Diana was kind and flexible. Appreciated that the most, her attitude toward me throughout the whole stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a short weekend, and the place was perfect for a peaceful getaway that felt right at home. It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. Highly recommend and would love to stay again sometime!

Carol’s place was a welcome rest for us. We loved the place’s early 1900s feel yet with all the modern amenities you would want. Perfect location right downtown. Just a few steps to all the shops and restaurants. Carol was always quick to respond and very helpful. The place was spotless. TVs in both bedrooms and living room was nice. We will be back!

This is the 2nd time I’ve been lucky enough to stay at Dave’s place while in Detroit for a concert & this is one of my absolute favorite BnBs of any city. The home is unique, full of history & fun- also really comfortable & easy to find. The neighborhood is safe and has the most amazing vibe. The backyard gate makes it easy to get to downtown Ferndale where you’ll find some amazing food (I had Anita’s Kitchen this time- the falafel & rice pudding were amazing), fun bars & the nicest people. The closed in balcony is my favorite part of this space- that and the vintage naughty wallpaper in the bathroom. Can’t wait to come back!

I visit family often in this area and this was a perfect spot to stay! Will definitely be staying again and recommend to anyone needing a place in this area 😊 Friendly and walkable neighborhood and so close to all the cute Royal Oak shops and restaurants. I had zero issues while staying here and Bomfi is a great, communicative host!

Wow! Perfectly located. Close to everything. Very quiet and family friendly neighborhood. Extremely clean. Linens and towels were very nice and extra fluffy. Beds super comfy. We had everything we needed and so did our fur baby.

We were looking for a comfy place to rest our heads while visiting Detroit. It was in a safe neighborhood, and it was obvious that TJ is very passionate about his Air b and b tenants. He followed up after check in, and went above and beyond to make our couple day stay very pleasant! His house is spotless, and we felt right at home immediately.

This home was cozy and convenient. Stayed here with a 4 year old and 18 month old, there is a playground within walking distance of the home. A quick drive to multiple family friendly entertainment options. Both kids enjoyed the wildlife that came up to the bird feeders by the house. We also really appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again.

Trina was very good with communicating and responding. The place is so cute and comfortable. Loved the amount of lighting and the windows! We never walked anywhere due to time constraints and commitments, but it is walkable and close to Main Street, Royal Oaks. While we were there, we had trouble with the WiFi throughout our stay. It would work, then drop, then work which made watching tv annoying, but we rolled with it without complaining, and the one-time we definitely needed it for an important meeting, Trina quickly rebooted the signal and it worked throughout the meeting. I would definitely stay there again, and I hope to. :)

We had a great stay here, and I would definitely rent this again. We had our dog with us, and the backyard was great. There were lots of places to walk as well, and it was convenient for us to meet our family. The kitchen had everything we needed during the trip, and we really appreciated the drip coffee maker! Our family felt very welcome by our hosts. They baked cookies and left a thoughtful card for my family and I. My family had a great time utilizing the canoe and kayak. The lake view is truly unforgettable. The sun going down is breathtaking. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. We would definitely stay again. It was fine. Initially booked a different location based on the location. It was double booked and we were moved to a different location. Not the worst thing in the world, but was surprised to be relocated last minute.

Nicole responded quickly after I had to leave a disgusting air BNB in the area. We were two adults and a toddler staying for 5-6 weeks. Her and her husband just took over management of this BNB and are very responsive and proactive on the management issues and maintenance. They got me a portable crib, high chair and some baby gates. They left us drop stuff off early because it was available. They had boot bins shipped for us to use to help keep the floors clean, and other items as needed. The place was one of the cleanest I've been in. It is less than a block from a very busy street, and while noise might be a concern in the summer it wasn't too bad in February-March. We had only 1 car and there are many playgrounds in parks within a 1 mile walk from the house. It's not fancy but clean and simple. The dog was welcome but the yard is not fenced all the way around. Just what we needed. If I had a BNB I would definitely want Nicole to manage it.

The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!
