I was in the Canary Paradise again, this time with my son, and again it was an impeccable experience. The house is spacious, clean, pleasant, a real 'home' in the hectic of Dakar. It is located in a quiet alley, close to the BRT stop, supermarkets etc. We like the ecological sensitivity that is promoted here. Thanks to Marie-Louise and her team for hosting and your 5-star hospitality!

Amy was very kind to me, welcoming, and helpful during my trip. From the moment I arrived in Senegal and even after I left she was communicative. I also appreciated how flexible she was as my itinerary shifted a few times during my visit. We shared wonderful conversations, some meals together, and other pleasantries. She is a knowledgable person about the area, the country, and a myriad of other subjects. I would recommend her as a host for others traveling to Dakar. Also, her two dogs were an adorable bonus!

René's place was perfect for our short stay in Dakar. It's located in a quiet area but still close to everything you need. The room is clean and the A/C is so nice after a day out in the heat. René is a gracious host and we really appreciate how much he cares for his guests. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Mariane’s home. She was very flexible and responsive to our questions and travel changes. The house was quiet and well-maintained. Ndeye was a lovely housekeeper who was thoughtful, kind and kept the place in beautiful condition. Ouakam is also a nice area - a safe neighborhood where we felt right at home.

Great hospitality from Diouma. Very nice, she gave us advice and even prepared us a great mafe!!!! 0n recommends this place, for a visit to Dakar.

Marc's place was really perfect for me. It was large and quiet up on the 4th floor. It was almost too big for me alone, but I welcomed the luxury of all that space to myself for a few days.

Great location in Plateau. Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Alain was kind enough to share his list of recommendations, we tried almost all of them and they were good. The apartment is very clean. Although it’s in a busy neighborhood of Dakar, once windows are closed it’s very quiet (though a bit dark). We would recommend to anyone visiting Dakar for a few days and would gladly come again.

I really don’t know where to start. The pictures match the reality, even exceeded my expectations. Hassim and Hamidou are just so friendly, calm nature they went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. These also the security guard and one more person I can’t remember his name also very friendly and accommodating. You most definitely have the best staff. Custom service was everything. I have no complaints. This would be my number one place to stay again when I come to Senegal. Thank you again to you and your family.

Great place to stay in the island!

Mo and his co-host Beni were incredibly responsive with a sense of urgency and sincerity. I really appreciated how quickly and carefully they addressed my questions. As a female solo traveler i felt safe even when walking to the unit late night. The community is active and friendly and folks were quick to greet or respond. Its also close to many essentials (grocery, restaurants, salon) and you can catch taxis pretty quickly withing a 2 min walk. It is a little tucked away so be sure to get the location pin from Mo for easier navigation. The unit itself was incredibly spacious, with central air throughout. I loved the little corner nook for reading. I also rather enjoyed hearing the little kids playing outside or the birds chirping, good sonic cues of life! Overall a good stay that i would recommend

Very clean apartment and building, well located and secure. Biba was a responsive and caring host. I spent close to 3 months at her apartment and felt at home! I highly recommend.

Boucar and his wife were always on hand to give helpful advice on the local area. They arranged trips and sorted out any issues with travel. The accommodation was typically Senegalese and meet all our requirements.

We enjoyed our stay at Sylvie & Modibo's place a lot. The cozy, stylish apartment looks like in the pictures. It's easy to find, the communication went well and was very fast. Sylvie makes you feel right at home. There are supermarkets and little stores in the neighborhood,too. And of course the Restaurant New Africa is right next door. Highly recommended!

The apparment was very spacious and well equiped. For us the location was convenient. It was easy to get taxis. all the places we wanted to visit were within 30 min. away but mostly closer. Hedi was a great host. Very generous, welcoming and responsive.

Fatou is going to make problems with Airbnb because she will have to create the 6-star rating for her. A stay where absolutely everything was perfect, from the hospitality to the start, the little details well thought out. And the smile, the kindness of Fatou and his family who accompany you throughout the stay. But an amazing anecdote made this stay unforgettable: when I arrived by taxi I realize that I forgot my phone there. The time to realize it and connect to its location, it's already at the Colobane market (where you sell, trade thousands of phones every day) From then on, Fatou took matters into his own hands, using his networks, description of the taxi, the context. In a few minutes she identifies the taxi. She finds her private number and calls her. Dakar is a city where THOUSANDS of taxis run She spoke to him 2min, He brought the phone back in 30 minutes with her eyes down. Fatou, you are the most amazing host of my life! Djerejeuf

Djiby's place was perfect for me and my family. It was tucked away in a peaceful nook but close enough to all the Dakar activities were looking for. The staff was amazing, and the apartment was clean, stylish, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I loved staying here! Emma's communication made things easy. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, clean and easy to move around in. The building has a lift and is serviced by doorman etc so it feels always safe. Everyone is really helpful. There are shared lounge spaces on the ground floor if you need to meet/host people but don;t want to bring them into your space. Location is erfect for Dakar. Easy for ;pickups and drop-offs with tours, but also walkable distance to restaurants, cafes and local fruit/vege stalls. This is one of the loveliest AirBnB apartments I've stayed in. Thanks Emma!

Beatrice’s apartment is in an excellent location, walking distance to the beaches and restaurants of Almadies but a bit set back from the main street, so it is beautifully quiet at night. The apartment is very spacious and well taken care of by Aissatou. It is easy to communicate with Beatrice and I felt very comfortable and safe at the apartment. A big plus are the gym and pool of the adjacent Residence Jasmin that can be used.

Ania is very responsive and perfectly accommodating. I would highly recommend this quiet, secure place in a great location. The accommodation is very clean and convenient. Kind regards
