Cabin vacation rentals in Mermaid Beach

Absolute perfection! Last minute weekend getaway and we found the perfect place. Tucked in the middle of the rainforest but only 25mins from the beach and all of the great places to eat at the Gold Coast. Loved being able to switch off and just immerse ourselves in this perfect stay.

Lovely surroundings with divine views of the Gold Coast all while sitting in the bath on the balcony. Love the view of the lights of Gold Coast at night. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning in the is pure tranquility and relaxation. The place is spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back and for a longer time

It’s hard to describe how magical Frog Hollow is. It really is a mini oasis the little cabin is situated right on the lake. The cabin is designated with an inside/ outside feel with wraparound windows and bifold doors. The birdsong is beautiful and being able to sit on the deck and watch the swallows dive was so peaceful. Kerry and Barry have thought of everything with lots of little touches like freshly baked bread, homemade candles, fresh flowers in every room. Barry built the house with exquisite care and attention to detail. Alongside the house is a beautiful deck and BBQ space with a fire pit. In The Boathouse you’ll find kayaks, row boats, SUP and fishing gear. A little paddle around the lake is fantastic ! The photos do not do the beauty of Froghollow justice. It has been a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.

Our stay was fantastic! The cabin was exactly as advertised—private, cozy, and immersed in nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature was magical. The outdoor shower, bath, and fire were incredible, especially in the rain. We’ve already recommended it to friends and can’t wait to return!

Very comfortable and lovely surroundings. Only had 2 nights but would like to return for a longer stay to enjoy restful environment, and explore the area.

Michaels place is exactly as described. Perfectly clean with everything you need for a short stay. Close to everything on the Gold Coast. If you have a dog it's very private and safe for your pet. Would definitely book with Michael again.

If you’re looking for a place to recconect with nature and yourself, this cabin is truly one of a kind. It’s nestled in a beautiful section of rainforest that is incredibly private, quiet and lush with the soundtrack of nature. The interior is a stunning ode to the 1970’s but with all the modern touches you need, a highlight is definitely the loft bedroom and it’s views along with the incredible lounge set up. I could keep listing everything I loved about this stay but do yourself a favour and experience things first hand. Pack all you need because once you arrive, you won’t want to leave! Joshua was an incredibly helpful host with instructions and helpful tips for everything regarding this unique cabin. Thank you, I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous location and beautiful cabin. There were cows in the paddock that we watched for hours, fire place was lovely and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Exactly as described. The bean cafe has very yummy food and is so convenient being next door. We went to waterfalls which were all pretty close. Only thing is it could definitely do with a deep clean. There were ants and cockroaches and just dirt/ dust in certain places. But other than that it was perfect. Sam is very responsive and checkin was easy. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay in Glenice's unit! The grounds are lovely, the cabin unit is private and we had everything that we needed to cook meals and relax. Lamington & hiking in Binna Burra were just a short drive. Glenice was kind & responsive. Our stay was exactly what we had hoped it would be. We definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Stirling's picturesque cabin. The views of Hinze Dam and the surrounding emerald bushland created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. The deck was a highlight, I enjoyed BBQ dinners while soaking in the sounds of the local wildlife. The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable living area. The bedrooms were bright and inviting. The eco-conscious features, such as the rainwater tanks and wood-burning fireplace, made me feel good about my stay. The location was ideal—close enough to enjoy the local General Store and cafe, but also a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. I appreciated the nearby parks and walking trails for my morning exercise. Overall, Stirling's cabin was the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty.
