Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home in an extremely private setting, we loved our week away at this hidden gem! The beds are beautifully laid out, main level living room with a cozy wood stove and large TV was perfect on chilly evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed, just bring groceries! Lower floor has a secondary living room that feels quiet and comfy, with another large TV perfect for movie nights! Each of the 5 bedrooms were spotless and the 3 full baths (stocked with essentials) made our stay extra convenient. Primary bedroom and full bath on the upper floor are private and SO quiet! It is absolutely worth the extra fee for the hot tub! Host keeps it beyond pristine, we used it every day! Host & House Manager are friendly, responsive, and incredibly accomodating. Smart thermostats, dimmable lighting, easy recycling, pay-it-forward ideals, among other things, make the home eco-friendly, which is we love! One of the best homes we've stayed in! Words fall short to describe the beautiful home. We were allowed to have a small intimate wedding with just immediate family. But the location in the home provided us with the most beautiful background anyone could have imagined for. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to for that fall look and feeling. The place had more than enough space to accommodate 15 guest. No one felt tight in the rooms. The amenities were great! The host and co-host were very friendly and responsive. I recommend this home for your Vermont trip. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Vermont.

We stayed here and at a nearby house so the location was desirable. The amenities were nice, especially the hot tub. Even though there were eight beds, the common areas were lacking in space for all eight people, and the kitchen was a bit small to cook extensive meals. Overall, great stay and pleased for the ease!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's Chalet. The house was exactly as described beautiful inside and out. We loved seeing all the wildlife around the home every day. The home is very private and close to many outdoor activities especially hiking. We would certainly consider this home again on our next trip to Vermont. Sincerely Paul & Rebecca

We love Lake Rescue! House was very accurate to description and Katie was a friendly and responsive host. Check-in was very easy and the house had been freshly cleaned. It was too weedy to go swimming off the shore/dock but the lake was great for fishing and boating. We also had a very friendly group of ducks who came to visit every day. Peaceful week at the lake, couldn’t ask for anything else. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

My stay at Jeff and Stacey’s place was amazing! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches really stood out. The location was perfect, and communication with Jeff and Stacey was seamless and super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Awesome place to stay with friends or family, and a nice drive to the mountain

The home is in a great location! It is central to Woodstock and Plymouth to the North being about 40 min away with beautiful scenery along the way. To the south Manchester and Weston both cute towns. It is located just a bit off of scenic route 100. We went for the fall foliage season. The home was spacious offering privacy for each room. The middle floor was the gathering space with the kitchen and living room. The hot tub was well maintained and nice. The only negative was the host didn’t respond to any messages prior to arrival. The check in instructions was clear but they never sent the code to get in. There is a number to call and once I called it I was sent a code very quickly. It was a little pricey for us with 2 couples but it could accommodate 3 couples and it was no more than other lodging in The area. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again!

Awesome chalet nestled in the hills looking over Scenic Hwy 100. Spectacular view of the fall colors, close to great hiking trails with cool little towns nearby to grab a bite. We loved relaxing on the balcony at the end of the day just taking in the view. And the Stars at at night - WOW. This was the perfect place for our Green Mountain getaway!

Dan & Holly’s place is by far one of the best air bnb’s my family and I have stayed at. House is big and had enough rooms and beds to accommodate all of us. It had 2 kitchens which was amazing when we were cooking dinner. It’s also had a large dining table that fit all 11 of us which is something we look for in the houses we stay in. The house Had enough bathrooms on both floors that no one had to wait to use one. Bathrooms and rooms and kitchens were very clean. The hot tub was really nice and bigger than i expected it to be. Very nice hang out spot in the hot tub room. The surrounding around the house were beautiful waking up to snow in the location was magical ! I can’t recommend this place enough trust me you won’t regret it. 10/10!

Zach and Tasha we’re wonderful hosts. They were responsive and flexible and their home was wonderful. We had a large family vacation for Grandparents 50th and it was as an absolutely amazing time and the 12 of us had no problem fitting. The pond near by was great swimming with the dock and having Stratton mountain right down the road was a blast to hang out in ski village and take the gondola to the peak for a hike. All in all I would definitely recommend this stay!

Such a beautiful home! It was very clean and in such a gorgeous location. The open-layout was perfect for our group - we really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit! The house is perfectly located across a national park (great hiking) and just minutes from town. The only thing I would flag is that the kitchen will be empty - pots/pans/silverware is all provided, but don’t expect any condiments or cooking oils - bring it all! 10/10 would recommend this spot!

Overall, it was a great experience for my first Air B&B. Neil was fantastic! He is very responsive, clear in his directions, and also accommodated our group with early check in with no question! The house is beautiful on the inside. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. There is a lot of room, so everyone in our group was able to have their own space (9 people total). I felt very at home in Neil's house and appreciate how responsive and kind he was! A few things to note (not negatives just informative for future guests): The house is down a long gravel/dirt road, it is extremely quiet and private. The inside is beautiful but there were LOTS of spiders all over the outside (however, I suppose it is in the middle of the woods!) Cell service and wifi are great, no issues with that at all. Super close to Killington Road where all the restaurants and shops are so great location!
