I just had an amazing stay at Pecan Spring Ranch! It's a charming blend of historic Texas and privacy, the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway in Central Texas. This place has been in the family since 1880, and you can feel the history and love that’s gone into it. The ranch is huge, offering plenty of room to spread out. I enjoyed exploring the self-guided tour along the new red aggregate trails. The wide, open spaces were a breath of fresh air. The cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It has an excellent hot shower with plenty of water pressure, and the soft towels and linens add a touch of luxury. There’s so much to see and do here. I loved the iconic red barn, the chicken coop, and the fascinating Wagyu cattle. Birding was incredible—I saw so many species. Coyote Cliff offered stunning views. Pecan Spring Ranch is a real gem, perfect for anyone needing to unwind and reconnect with nature. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and I can’t wait to come back!

Cherry was an excellent host. The place was exactly what we were looking for and Cherry was super accommodating. Highly recommended!

Had another great stay at Oscars place. Right in the middle of Menard close to grocery stores, restaurants, and minutes away from our deer lease. As soon as you walk in you feel right at home. We will come back every year!

This cozy little rock home is situated in the middle of town just a few hundred yards from a restaurant and grocery store. There is a nice little private yard with a fire pit and grill and once you're inside you feel like you're in total seclusion from the outside world. Nice stay, would highly recommend if you're traveling through.

This cabin is in such beautiful surroundings. The wildlife are everywhere to enjoy. This cabin has had many nice upgrades such as new ceiling fans, refrigerator, tv's, wifi, couch and coffee table. The air conditioners work really well and our host arranged for the a/c to be on for our arrival in this high Texas heat.

I love staying here every time I work in Menard this is my go to spot. The pictures are accurate. Jennifer is awesome and quick to respond. Stay here if you get the chance you won’t regret it!

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for my family while we were in town hunting. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook. Easy to locate and close to everything in town. The only issue was the cockleburs /stickers from the yard were on the carpets and would poke our feet while walking around so we wore our slippers. We left our shoes/boots outside so we would not bring them in. That was really the only issue We would definitely rent again!!
