Beautifully located on the edge of the Sahara, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The unforgettable camel ride into the sunrise was absolutely magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique adventure in the desert!

Palmyra Luxury Camp is not just a site to visit and stay overnight, it’s a total experience. The host and his team are delightful and very helpful from the moment you step on the property to when you leave. There is no request to small or too big for them to handle to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience while in their care. The luxury tents are pristine and well decorated with all the features and more than one could possible require in such a remote location. The tea service and multi course dinner is remnant of five star restaurants in major cities. In addition, the live music and conversation about the hosts’ culture and heritage around the fire in the evening is an added bonus. Palmyra luxury camp is an all inclusive luxury experience with many offerings and suggestions to partake in the local culture and activities. I highly recommend a stay here and would definitely come back again.

We had a great stay at Houssien’s house. The location was ideal for a stop between Fès and the desert. Houssien was very friendly and tried to show us some nice spots in the area, including a visit to meet local nomads.

Omar’s place was perfect and we wish we spent a few more nights at his camp. The dinner was nothing short of a feast. We will be back!

A wonderful place to stay if you want to climb and relax. Simo, Said, and his whole family took care of everything for our stay, meaning we could focus on the world class climbs and resting. The food is wonderful, if consistent. Small details like afternoon and evening tea become rituals to look forward to in earnest. Importantly, the climbing community that congregates at the gite is a part of the magic. So many wonderful and interesting parties coming through. Meals are often spent swapping stories and beta with other climbers. Don’t overthink it! This is the gite you want.

Great stay: impeccable accommodation (with everything you need: the little plus the hot shower) with a magnificent view as well as a very good meal. Many activities to do around: a huge thank you to Idriss for hiking in the canyon 😍 We had a lovely time with her!!! Very friendly, smiling and helpful people. I'd recommend it without a second thought
