Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Meghalaya

We had an amazing stay at Ian's Airbnb in Upper Shillong! The place is absolutely beautiful, nestled in a serene location with breathtaking views. The house itself is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. A special mention goes to the caretaker, Edwin. He was incredibly hospitable, always available to assist with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. His local tips and warm personality truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend Ian's place to anyone visiting Shillong. It's a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and excellent hospitality. 5 stars!

Martina is no ordinary women..a woman with tons of experience from 5star hotels and airline. very friendly helpful host with homely touch.. she also invited us for khasi dinner. her mother and sister also help her and are very much helpful. if you have your own transportation this is the best value for money in Shillong. Martina thanks so much.

The homestay was located on the outskirts of the city, providing a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Moving around was a bit inconvenient, with less transportation options but we immediately got a scooter to address this. Dama ma'am, was extremely helpful and responsive. She went above and beyond by connecting us with local cab drivers, arranging scooter rentals, and providing valuable shopping suggestions. Her hospitality made our stay enjoyable.

Martina was the best host anyone can ask for and the place was just perfect for a holiday to experience the beauty of Shillong away from city hustle. They made my stay so comfortable and the place was exactly as promised!!! Best choice of stay and friendship in all of Shillong!!!

Beautiful property with a garden and open place for the kids. The house was cosy and comfortable for 9 of us. Fireplace was a big plus. The caretaker was kind and friendly, breakfast and dinner we had at the homestay. Child friendly. Overall, we had a lovely time. Would recommend it to friends and family.

The stay was very pleasant and great being located in the main spot of the city. The house was cozy with spacious bedrooms and garden area. Host Anamika was very responsive and addressed all our queries patiently. Overall a great place to stay in Shillong.

We stayed for 10 days at the Ken and Twills guest house.. we couldn’t have expected a better stay in Shillong, the place is spacious, the architecture is beautiful with a lot of outdoor space surrounded by scenic pines. Our rooms were equipped with heaters and hot water was available 24/7. The caretakers, especially Ashang, were extremely helpful and have a very welcoming attitude.. we were made to feel at home in a place which was new for us. We were guided by them in Shillong with relevant tips. We would definitely recommend Ainame’s guesthouse and will surely visit again.
