A cosy authentic log cabin. beautiful picturesque outlook, even in steady rain! We spent a day going to Hanmer Springs enjoying a walk, hot pools and restaurant, returning for a relaxing evening at the cottage. Mt Lyford is beautiful summer or winter. Life is what you make it. Comfort and natural beauty offered here.

We had the most fantastic time spending 2 nights in the wine pod. This was such a unique and special place to stay. It rained for the majority of our time here and we still loved every minute as it was very peaceful. When the rain did let up, we really enjoyed the soaking tub. The entire experience was fantastic. All the extra little touches like the provided breakfast and treats really elevated the experience. Due to the bad weather we didn’t use the bikes but I’m sure that would be amazing as well. We also opted to just drink wine in the pod instead of doing the included tasting but I’m sure that would be wonderful as well. Our hosts were very friendly and checked multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a unique and fun place to stay close to Christchurch, I highly recommend visiting the wine pod.

We had such a lovely stay here, it wasn’t far to walk into town. Loved how there were so many bathrooms and toilets for a group of people. Peaceful and spacious. Clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much

Great place to stay for a weekend in Hanmer Springs with out two grown up children. Spacious, new building. Excellent location close to the start of the Conical Hill walk, which we walked twice. Quiet surroundings with great mountain views from the deck.

This was a marvellous home for our three day stay in Hanmer Springs. Within an hour we wanted to extend our stay with one more day because we felt very much at home. Beautifully designed and well built, everything there that we needed (and more). The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Very nice kitchen. Perfect stay.
