The Himmelreich is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are extremely clean, the restaurant below offers interesting and very good dishes, the shop is a source of ‘curious’ and rare things. ‘The other owner’ we needed in the evening even gave me the seeds of his fantastic Tagetes that I've never seen so big! A special greeting goes to him... I was sorry I couldn't greet him in person when we left.

We felt very comfortable in this small cozy cottage. If you're looking for peace and quiet away from many people, this is the place to be. Less than 5 minutes walk to the Elbe, amazing scenery. We were received very nicely and could contact us at any time with any questions. The fenced-in garden was also a dream - as a dog owner. We weren't there the last time.... ;)

From the train station, the hostel was good and could be reached in a short time. Communication before check-in and during the stay went smoothly. I had breakfast at various bakeries around the corner, which was easy but nothing special. Absolutely recommended is the breakfast at Ringhotel Altstadt! There was a great buffet there for a small price. I was able to store my luggage there on the day of departure because the train didn't leave until noon. You can take beautiful hikes in and around Güstrow, and excursions to Warnemünde or the Müritz are possible by train. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

A coincidence that turned out to be absolute treasures. Wanted to go to the Baltic Sea at short notice during high season for a weekend. Decisive for us was the price. What we expected: a beautiful property, which is still located in the Sleeping Beauty sleep, but is already slowly waking up with a lot of love. If you are looking for peace, like extraordinary locations and love nature, this is the place to be. We felt very comfortable and recovered wonderfully. And if you are interested in the history of the house, you should take time for a chat with the very warm hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back again.

This time I was only there one night, it is a place with a very special atmosphere, a castle that invites people, dissolves distance and offers everything - even a beautiful library. I was very warmly welcomed by Miriam and all the people in the castle, at the same time we were respectfully granted the desired privacy, as I had met my niece there because of a sad occasion. I will return and also offer my seminars there. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

The holiday home is really fully equipped, spacious and with the extra room fine for a family or 2 couples. the roof terrace was great to still be able to sit outside privately. Restaurant is top! improvement points..... No, actually not. maybe something with internet power if all rooms are occupied with guests.

Lovely place. Historical modern feeling. Wonderful interior and the garden was absolutely perfect for us with a dog. Nice staff! Location is a tiny bit off from the rest and you have to drive sometime to get to restaurants and cafes etc. But the good location compensate for that.

Everything is fine, very comfortably furnished, very clean and especially the pool invites you to linger. The breakfast was great, there was a very nice service and the selection was small but nice. Gladly again for a longer stay, as the desire for relaxation and recreation can definitely be fulfilled.

I was in Greifswald for 2 days for an event and therefore needed a cheap place to stay nearby. Sabine and Olaf's hostel was the perfect solution. It was very spacious, very cozy, warm and you almost felt at home. Sabine and Olaf were so sweet and kind to me. I would love to stay here again if I'm back in Greifswald. 😊
