The kitchen was very well stocked with what were probably the nicest pots, pans, and baking items I've ever seen in a rental, and that's saying a lot. Thank you.

I would recommend arriving during daylight. We went to the wrong cabin initially but the host came over instantly and helped us get to where we needed to be. Walking into our cabin the fireplace was on, Christmas tree lit, the entire ambience was so welcoming and cozy. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The hot tub was such a perfect relaxing experience. We used it everyday. The host came (without interruption) and maintained it during our visit by adding water and cleaning which we appreciated. It shows the high level of attentiveness to the property and guest needs. I wish it wasn’t such a far drive so that we could come back more often. We will definitely be returning. This was one of the best trips we have ever been on and it’s definitely thanks to the level of care and commitment the owners have to the cabins and their guests stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a secluded, quiet, relaxing getaway.

His place was amazing! So peaceful and we got to see snow which was great. Very very clean and had everything we needed for a little vacation! 10/10.

Ashera and Luke were about the best hosts and now friends you could ask for. Their beautiful, well built rustic cabin was cozy with all the amenities we needed. The property is breathtaking, with a space for every need or want. We stayed for a respite from home in WNC and overwhelming emotions and energy from Helene, and our hosts were more supportive than we ever could have asked for. We will definitely be making this a regular getaway and sanctuary. Absolutely loved the stay and our hosts.

We had such a good experience, the host had a crew come and shovel the snow on the steps and put down ice melt. We loved the mugs we could purchase for a memento (we got 4). The hot tub was really nice because it was not only private but only a few feet away from the warm house.

This cabin exceeds highest expectations, as does the host! Very tastefully decorated, truly comfortable furniture, high end amenities (felt like a rental at a top-notch resort) no clutter, and spotless in all aspects. First-class all the way. And William is responsive, professional, and helpful. The location is lovely and a true respite, peaceful and beautiful, overlooking the river. It’s a private setting with great seating outdoors on the front porch for morning coffee and the sunrise, or screened-in back porch for late day views over the water. After a day of hiking and excursions, so nice to return and put feet up indoors at the fireplace, or outside. No one driving by…it’s so tranquil. And the WiFi was terrific for mirroring and streaming movies, too! So, it’s’ on our list of our Top 5, after 4 years of road trips/hiking all around NC, VA, TN, & PA. It’s such a relief and a gift, to walk into a cabin that sets the bar so high. Thanks for a memorable stay, William!

Had a wonderful New Year’s Eve here, everything was so nice and it was easy to find. We also had a welcome surprise from little Zoey, who made our stay even better than it already was :)

Loved everything from the warm welcome to the beautiful set up of the cabin! Was happy to have a nice weekend get away and happy to see my dog enjoy some free roaming. Everything was set up nicely and if the weather would’ve been better we would’ve seen some beautiful views. Can’t wait to hopefully stay here again in the future. Also really enjoyed the cabin.

Spencer & Jordans A-Frame cabin is a gem in the Hanging Rock and Dan River area! It is remote, peaceful and quiet with wonderful views. The entire experience to include communication, arrival and depature was seamless and relaxing. The Rocking A-Frame is definitely a location I highly recommend for anyone looking to get away, hike or just unwind. Thank you Spencer & Jordan for a wonderful experience!

Steve place is amazing. Everything was spotless and comfortable for me and my family. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. The area is peaceful and everything is close by. He have everything for you to enjoy your stay and he is always checking to see if you need anything.. great host. My family and I enjoy every minute of it! Definitely a great place to stay and we will go back.

I really loved and enjoyed my stay

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this cabin, and I sincerely LOVE this place!!! My sister and I got to enjoy an inverse snow-globe experience on our stay...although I wouldn't advise anyone without really good 4WD to attempt it in the winter, it was an absolutely dream stay for my birthday!!!! Hosts were on point with everything as usual, and I can't thank them more for maintaining such a wonderful little oasis!!!

We loved our stay in this 100+ year old cabin. Pan had a fire in the woodstove for us when we arrived (there are also wall mounted gas heaters & electric space heaters if you aren’t comfortable dealing with the stove).The house was very clean and I loved the decor (antiques and ephemera everywhere). The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. The tub is amazing as is the view from the bath. We loved the private path down to the New River trail (you do need to cross the creek twice, so watch your footing). It’s about a 10 min walk to the trail. Our dogs loved the hikes & watching the squirrels and birds at the feeders. I would recommend bringing a few larger baby gates (we brought one so our pups could hang out on the porch with us). The cabin is very private (part of a 75-acre property); we didn’t encounter anyone on our hikes. No cell service but WiFi was good. The driveway was easy to navigate. We are looking forward to returning soon!

An amazingly picturesque location as the leaves changed! The studio cabin was a perfect size for 2 adults. We enjoyed exploring Big Walker Lookout and the ever-so-interesting restaurant/bar/garden/gift shop that is Log House 1776 Restaurant in Wytheville. Venture up to Pearisburg and hike Cascade Falls if you have time!

It’s no wonder Patty & Tom have such stellar reviews! Their cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Close to all Floyd has to offer, everything was meticulously thought of: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, water & snacks, and little touches -as a woman I really appreciated. I worked from the cabin the entire week, as the desk was the perfect spot to hold meetings and enjoy the view of the snow falling as well as the fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom was cozy, the period furniture all about the cabin adding a sense of whimsy. Each evening we cooked in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed our meals at the dining room table. Best of all, Patty and Tom are gracious, kind, and the kind of hosts that Airbnb should strive for. We look forward to visiting Patty, Tom, and the Cabin again!

This cabin was the perfect place to take a deep breath and just relax with my best friend and husband. The nighttime sky is like nothing else and the area has all kinds of things to do. Thank you Adam and Gloria for a weekend to remember

Just as described. Cabin was very private. It was spacious and though not updated with modern appliances and decor, (it is as pictured) that is part of the charm. This is a true vintage cabin that gives you a place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

This is the ultimate unplugged cabin in the woods. Perfect setup for a great relaxing weekend trip. The place is the perfect size and Jade did an amazing job keeping the space free of excess items like furniture to keep the place airy and open. I love the funky cool decor and the solitude that this place was able to give us, was perfect. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a getaway. We hope to be able to come back again soon.

We loved our stay in this lovely cabin. We had to leave a little early for personal reason but we enjoyed everything, amazing views, so peaceful and cozy and the weather, especially the rain at night. My husband absolutely loved the shower lol. Thank you Linda and Denis 💗

I can't say enough about the little cabin. It was the perfect size for a 2-person getaway. Ezekiel was beyond friendly and very communicative with the cabin looking exactly like the photos. We were snug as a bug during our stay with everything we needed there, including a very comfortable bed. The hot tub was great for a wintery night and only 10 steps away. The next opportunity we have for a getaway, we will be coming back!
