The kitchen was very well stocked with what were probably the nicest pots, pans, and baking items I've ever seen in a rental, and that's saying a lot. Thank you.

I would recommend arriving during daylight. We went to the wrong cabin initially but the host came over instantly and helped us get to where we needed to be. Walking into our cabin the fireplace was on, Christmas tree lit, the entire ambience was so welcoming and cozy. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The hot tub was such a perfect relaxing experience. We used it everyday. The host came (without interruption) and maintained it during our visit by adding water and cleaning which we appreciated. It shows the high level of attentiveness to the property and guest needs. I wish it wasn’t such a far drive so that we could come back more often. We will definitely be returning. This was one of the best trips we have ever been on and it’s definitely thanks to the level of care and commitment the owners have to the cabins and their guests stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a secluded, quiet, relaxing getaway.

Ashera and Luke were about the best hosts and now friends you could ask for. Their beautiful, well built rustic cabin was cozy with all the amenities we needed. The property is breathtaking, with a space for every need or want. We stayed for a respite from home in WNC and overwhelming emotions and energy from Helene, and our hosts were more supportive than we ever could have asked for. We will definitely be making this a regular getaway and sanctuary. Absolutely loved the stay and our hosts.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Host was very responsive and communicated well. We only stayed 1 night but throughly enjoyed our stay. Comes equipped with everything you could need down to kitchen wear, towels, speaker and a heater. Beautiful location and a great time for any small family or couple get away.

Loved everything from the warm welcome to the beautiful set up of the cabin! Was happy to have a nice weekend get away and happy to see my dog enjoy some free roaming. Everything was set up nicely and if the weather would’ve been better we would’ve seen some beautiful views. Can’t wait to hopefully stay here again in the future. Also really enjoyed the cabin.

Very scenic. Our family spent only 2 (wonderful) nights--perfect getaway. We hiked to the top of Stone Mountain, with its scenic views, especially the waterfalls. After this long climb, the jacuzzi was a most-welcome respite. Our boys spent their first years of life in Bali, so the unexpected dusting of snow was the "icing" on the cake, especially as we were in the jacuzzi during most of it. The internet is reasonably fast (~100 mbs) and reliable. The gas fireplace is a very nice touch. The place was clean. It might be a bit slippery to reach the cabin in snow and ice, as the access is rather steep. We did have a few stinkbugs and released about 15 to the outside. One of our sons enjoyed playing with them, and insisted on bringing one home. The "house rules" are mostly reasonable, but a few were not practical. For example, the warning not to put food in the trash, because of a bear problem. There is no garbage disposal, so I guess you have to haul out food-contaminated items.

This was the perfect cozy little getaway in the woods. My sister and I loved it here! Charming and more than enough amenities for our weekend away. We especially loved the woodburning fireplace.

Great cabin in the hills. Close to Galax where we had a nice dinner at the local distillery and brewery. Very private and quiet, clean and roomy. I recommend this house very highly. Thank you Steven!

Vicky's cabin was absolutely beautiful. Sitting on the screened in porch listening to the rush of the water, was so peaceful. We were 30 minutes from Chateau Morrisette, a beautiful winery with amazing views. We had a wonderful afternoon and had dinner at Maples restaurant at Olde Mill golf resort on the way back, only 5 miles from the cabin. Then had a relaxing evening with a glass of wine around the gas fire table on the porch. Thank you Vicky for a wonderful stay.

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this cabin, and I sincerely LOVE this place!!! My sister and I got to enjoy an inverse snow-globe experience on our stay...although I wouldn't advise anyone without really good 4WD to attempt it in the winter, it was an absolutely dream stay for my birthday!!!! Hosts were on point with everything as usual, and I can't thank them more for maintaining such a wonderful little oasis!!!

Husband, dogs and I were heading through the area. Spontaneous decision to stay. Booked and arrived within an hour. Pan had a fire going in the woodstove. Plenty of extra wood. Cabin is rustic with tons of visual interest. Very creative use of industrial, vintage, eclectic pieces. Bold creek could be heard in the cabin. Beautiful, peaceful, perfect location for some down time. We will definitely return!!

The bunkhouse is the perfect place to disconnect from the busy world and take in the quietude of the woods (but still close enough to town to shop, eat, etc). Caroline has thought of everything, lots of little touches in the place to be cozy and comfortable.

This rental has an absolutely beautiful view of pilot mountain. Very quiet place to relax and unwind. Andrea was a great Host! Highly recommend!

It’s no wonder Patty & Tom have such stellar reviews! Their cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Close to all Floyd has to offer, everything was meticulously thought of: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, water & snacks, and little touches -as a woman I really appreciated. I worked from the cabin the entire week, as the desk was the perfect spot to hold meetings and enjoy the view of the snow falling as well as the fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom was cozy, the period furniture all about the cabin adding a sense of whimsy. Each evening we cooked in the spacious, well equipped kitchen and enjoyed our meals at the dining room table. Best of all, Patty and Tom are gracious, kind, and the kind of hosts that Airbnb should strive for. We look forward to visiting Patty, Tom, and the Cabin again!

Just as described. Cabin was very private. It was spacious and though not updated with modern appliances and decor, (it is as pictured) that is part of the charm. This is a true vintage cabin that gives you a place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

This is a gorgeous cabin by a beautiful, peaceful River. So quiet other than the River and tons of stars to gaze at night! We had a great time sitting on the front porch (ample comfortable furniture) watching the water and the deer each morning and evening. We also loved the fire pit and sitting down beside the river each evening by a warm fire. King bed is delightful; firm enough while being plenty soft. Loads of blankets and great pillows. Great shower with hot water and clean towels! Kitchen had everything to cook basic meal. Really comfy furniture in living room with smartTV! Ena was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. As asked, we stayed on the property when at the cabin (no walking around the neighborhood). We enjoyed several fabulous hikes just 15 minutes away (Sparta trail/MST trail) from the cabin! So much hiking within 15-30 minute drive. Grocery store was 10 minute drive and Sparta had a few cute restaurants we look forward to trying another time!

We loved our stay in this lovely cabin. We had to leave a little early for personal reason but we enjoyed everything, amazing views, so peaceful and cozy and the weather, especially the rain at night. My husband absolutely loved the shower lol. Thank you Linda and Denis 💗
