Tiny house vacation rentals in McLennan County

It was a last minute decision to spend sometime away from home over the weekend & Lacy was super quick in responding and accommodating us at the Tiny house. Place was super clean, perfect size with plenty of place to sit outside with pool and kids play area with swings, that was a great touch. Staff at Gathering Oaks are very helpful and always around incase you need anything. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. But if taking your pet there will be additional $50 charge, which I feel is little higher from what I have seen in the past. :)

We recently stayed at Gathering Oaks Retreat in Crawford, TX, for a couples weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by the serene and peaceful surroundings. The retreat is beautifully maintained, and the outdoor games in the courtyard were a delightful addition to our stay. The property truly embodies a relaxing atmosphere. We spent our time taking nature walks, enjoying the fresh air, and simply reconnecting with each other. It felt like a blessing to be in such a tranquil setting, where we could pause and appreciate life's simple pleasures. The attention to detail in making our stay comfortable was evident, and the hostess was very helpful with the instructions for the facility. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a chance to rekindle your relationship, Gathering Oaks Retreat is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and full of gratitude for the experience. Five stars all the way!!

Perfect spot to wind down from the city noise. The river view and bench next to the river was a perfect spot to hangout plus the outdoor lighting made the night feel exciting.

Overall very satisfied with the tiny house stay. We were the only ones there that weekend so it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the activities on the premise. We can see this place being an awesome choice for a retreat or family reunion. Lacy was a great host and responsive to any questions. Would recommend to anyone.

The beds were comfortable just a bit difficult to get to! Not sure about the safety of the loft bed. Checkin was easy, hosts were very responsive. There were some spiderwebs and that was my reason for giving cleanliness a 4 rating. The tiny house was clean otherwise. Met our needs.

The Silo’s and the Fossil Creek location were absolutely amazing! The hosts were incredible. We had an amazing trip! Thank you for the hospitality and we look forward to coming again!

Perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing stay! We visited Waco for all the Magnolia attractions, but wanted to stay outside the city and this was perfect! It was quiet with beautiful country views, but a quick and easy drive into the city. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size for such a small little home. We loved sitting out on the patio while my son played in the yard. I also liked that it was a gated entrance to the property- made it feel even more safe. I would definitely stay here again, and it'd be a perfect spot to do a girls trip or couples trip if you can rent all 3 cabins together!

Had a great getaway weekend with my wife, we absolutely recommend it was peaceful and had a great time.

The container home was perfect! comfortable and cozy, plenty of space for my husband and me. We loved spending the first evening rooftop star gazing! And although we did not come to Waco to visit the Homestead Village, we were immediately enchanted with all the shops and dining options. Just the BEST way to spend a Saturday morning! We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I were visiting Magnolia and found this cute Tiny Home to stay in. Every detail seemed carefully selected for functionality and style. We only wished we'd had more time to enjoy the rooftop deck with its inviting bistro lights and Adirondack chairs.

Everything is perfectly pleasant

We had such a fun girl’s weekend. The home was gorgeous done and felt so cozy and welcoming. We appreciated the security system for peace of mind. We would absolutely come back and stay here again. Thanks for such a sweet getaway.

A great location, close to everywhere we needed to go. The house is cozy and comfortable. The beds were perfect for all of us. The one thing I would note is the outside traffic is really loud but it slowed down around 10 pm. Overall a great place to stay very clean and comfortable! Home was decorated so beautifully for the holidays, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Cookies were waiting for us so delicious, what a special treat!

Great little spot for what we needed. My husband and I were in town for our daughter's school event and just needed somewhere comfy to stay so we could come and go for her events and sneak in a little shopping. They let it be known the street was loud, and it was, but we weren't bothered when sleeping at all. Space was clean, located in a very convenient location to shopping/food. If you stay here, there is a corner store you can see from the back yard, go try their fried ribs, we'd come back just to eat there! Best part of the neighborhood, and you will smell them cooking!

Great little house, had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Pretty close to downtown Waco. We loved our stay.

Lovely little home out in beautiful surroundings and everything you need for a cozy little getaway. Would highly recommend as staying in a shipping container is not only practical but pretty cool as well!

This tiny home is simply adorable. We absolutely loved our stay. They have everything you might need, but with a major touch of charm, which we fell in love with. Kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, silverware, etc. Beds are very comfortable with extra blankets as well. There’s a separate AC for the upstairs bedroom, which is a great idea. The two bathrooms are plenty big and super clean, and have really nice toiletries, with the best hand soap. These homes were very well thought of and look just lovely, inside and out. Kitchen has coffee, snacks, and water. We also loved the vintage edition games. Alicia was great to work with and very accommodating. Perfectly located within walking distance to the Silos area. With that being said, Waco is a working progress, so the area right around it is not pretty. They have done a good job in creating their own little oasis here though, hiding what’s around. It was a wonderful stay to say the least and would definitely do it again.

we really enjoyed our stay. The house was so nice and cute. we had everything we needed inside and out.

Brenna was so helpful the entire stay there. She checked in with me before my arrival and was very responsive to all my questions before and during my stay. The area feels safe especially knowing that her family is all around and more than happy to help anytime we needed some assistance or had questions. Complimentary items were such a plus and my children enjoyed the stay and had a great time playing the games that were provided. We would love to come back here, it was a beautiful and relaxing stay in the home especially after doing fun activities throughout Waco!
