Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam

We felt very comfortable at Perfecto and directly extended one night. He helped us with any questions you might have. And we had some of those! The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is AC in the bedrooms and living room. The area seemed very safe to us and there are lots of small shops and a market nearby. The stay was perfect for us! Many thanks to Perfecto.

Cozy place away from home with access to shopping and not far from the beaches.

We had a pleasant stay, safe, clean and peaceful environment, close to so many areas. Thank you Aneth for being responsive whenever we needed something and going above and beyond.. thanks to Johnson as well..

Andrew was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our requests. The WiFi signal was very strong and it’s internet super fast. The water heater was working fine and the air conditioning was working as well. The house was very clean and well stocked from the kitchen to the washrooms. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would definetly stay here again!

We booked the Villa for short stay and honestly felt like your time slowed down, which was so needed! So much peace and really private. Every corner had something for everyone whether it’s the pool, bonfire, which we enjoyed with S’mores, Jacuzzi, basketball and trampoline set up! It was an unreal experience and already talking about revisiting! The place made us feel right at home, so spacious. If you need somewhere to relax, this is the place! The host and helpers were very active and responsive. Helped us with all our inquiries. Thankyou so much! It exceeded our expectations.

I had a wonderful stay at Tracy's apartment in Msasani! Everything is well designed and equipped: With a very comfortable bed, reliable fans, fast Wifi and a generous bathroom and kitchen. Especially the smoothie-mixer is a perfect add-on to enjoy self-prepared fresh juices! Located in Msasani, it's a great starting point to explore Dar Es Salaam, while the direct neighborhood is very calm and offers different stores and shops for daily needs. Tracy and Lucy were always reachable and happy to help in any occurring questions, thanks a lot for that! Overall, I can highly recommend to stay here (also for a longer time) and hope to come back one day.

100% Recommendable! Jackline & Presley are really everything to make you feel quite and safe. Since the beginning the communication was very easy and all question were answered very polite and with patience. We even had the chance to get picked up from the airport by the owners to feel safe. The apartment itself is situated in a very nice tanzanian neighborhood with great food and easy access to rapid bus transport or any other public transport. The building itself also has a nice roof top for the sunset/sunrise with an amazing view over the neighborhood and Dar es Salaam. Overall we really loved to stay here and will definately come back as soon as we have the chance!

This is a great find - the location is perfect and the apartment is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The wifi works well, and it was a pleasure having DSTV to watch. Hot water for showers, all appliances working, generator kicked in when a blackout occurred, the linens were clean and soft, and the AC runs well. The location is easy for taxis to find, and perfectly placed between the business areas of Masaki and Mikocheni/Mwenge. Allegra, the host, was very responsive. We had several requests and she was able to assist gracefully, and didn’t make us feel like we were out of line for asking. All in all it was a lovely experience. We hope to stay again for our next visit, feel like we found a gem. Thanks again!

I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment upstairs in one of the houses on the compound. The garden is beautiful, it is a quiet and safe area. It was fun to go across to the football field in the evenings and watch the local games. A local farmer sells fresh delicious yogurt across the lane.. There is lovely choir music on Saturday aft / Sunday mornings. The apartment was comfortable and all services as described in the posting were provided. The balcony was lovely to use in the evenings to catch the cool breeze. The on-site staff were wonderful and were quick to respond to all questions and requests. Grace also responded quickly to any questions. The small road leading to the apartment is a bit rough but okay to walk/drive slowly. It is good to have transport if you want to access the larger supermarkets and restaurants, but there are plenty of local shops within walking distance. Local transport is also available close by. I would recommend Grace and Bengt's place.

Boksburg Complex was one of our most loved stays to date. Located in the prestigious Mbweni area, the peaceful residence is a stone's throw away from plenty of dukas (storefronts), vegetable & fruit stalls, supermarkets, the beach and a fitness gym. The gated 4-unit compound is the last house on the street, offers a huge courtyard, plenty of parking, and nighttime security. Inside, the apartment is fully furnished with quality cookware, a full-size stove, large fridge, and fast wi-fi. Though there’s no AC as of yet, a lovely breeze keeps it comfortable and cool. Bedrooms come with personal touches like wrapped soap and towel sets. Mosquito nets are pre-attached, and kids’ items are available if needed. Transportation is easy with Bolt and Uber, or the hosts’ trusted partners are also available upon request. We enjoyed Boksburg Complex so much that we’ve already rebooked multiple times. Thank you once again Leah and Chris for going above and beyond to make our stay feel like home!

Best two rooms apartment i have seen for the price. Spacious and clean kitchen and bathrooms. The place is secure with parking inside adds to more privacy.

I used to go big hotels but this place is actually very nice. Very close to Shoppers Supermarket where you can do grocery shopping and very close to places like Samaki Samaki, warehouse and Elements if you into clubbing. For smokers it’s the best place. Very secure. I have stayed for 28 days no issues on electricity at all. Internet at sometime it went out but not that often. In all I would come back. I just ended up renting another unit from this guy because days where blocked. I can say it’s a very good apartment

Great relaxing place close to the beach. You have to cross a very busy road to get to supermarket and beach, and during the weekend there is a club nearby that plays loud music until around midnight - otherwise nice accomodation, good wifi, good amenities, great AC, very comfortable. Also host is super quick to respond! Thank you!

Wow! This is what this totally hidden gem of a place! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home literally localated on the beach. Super friendly staff that will always try and accommodate your requests. Winny and Joseph and the masai security took great care of us. The private gardens are enormous with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host Sabrina was such a kind and thoughtful host, she even took time out to come visit us. She recommended great places to order food from and even arranged a local massage therapist to come visit. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hidden home to anyone wanting the luxury of a beach front getaway.

The stay with Andy was wonderful. The apartment is located in a very good place. First of all, it is located close to the Ocean, which gives you the opportunity to truly relax around the clock with a fresh breeze. Secondly, it is located in a very good place to be able to jump out and do all the planned attractions and places in the area. Above all, Andy is an extremely nice, friendly, helpful and always available/"in touch" person. In case of any questions or doubts, you can safely consult with him. I sincerely recommend it. I will definitely come back here! ❤️

James was a lovely host, very welcoming and was always available when needed. James apartment literally felt like a home from home. it was very clean and a cleaner came in once a week to clean and wash your clothes for a small fee. The house is close to the shops and restaurants and I even discovered a saloon approximately five min walk away. I throughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back.

If available book immediately you won’t be disappointed . Big tv in lounge and bedroom. Fast 💨 internet . Very quiet place, smiling pool big hot showers . Butogwa apartment is stylish beautiful art on the wall. You will be amazed ! and lucky at the same time to stay in this apartment

Our stay was good; and Nanyorri was very responsive to any needs we had or concerns we expressed. The neighborhood is peaceful but there is not much activity in this area. So, you have to use Uber or get a driver to take you around. This should not be too difficult. There is a mini supermarket in adjoining building, so you can get some everyday snacks and food items.
