Only praise for Kevin. Check in was a breeze and the place was well equipped and met all our needs. The walk to the centre was a little further than we expected but gave us the opportunity to walk off ok that great food.

A beautiful place to stay, with an amazing garden! Our dog loved it especially. Carole, her husband and their dog are very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to have a clear night sky and saw thousands of stars from the garden. We highly recommend the place!

We stayed one night at Neil's and cannot fault anything. He was a great host, very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to messages. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The cottage itself is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice- cosy and thoughtfully converted. The location was perfect for us, quiet and surrounded by countryside but only a 5 min drive to the nearest town and nearby to family we were visiting in the local area. We were travelling with our toddler son and dog, so the fireguard and stair gates provided were much appreciated! We felt really relaxed for our whole stay and David was friendly and helpful. We would love to return and stay again.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this peaceful cottage. We were very impressed and thankful for the thought of including so many toys/amenities for children! As a family travelling with young children, it’s so hard to find suitable accommodation and this cottage was absolutely perfect and full of entertainment to keep our little travellers happy during the stay, they were so happy to play with toys! The area is very private and quiet and the direct access to the walking path beside the cottage is perfect for those like us who like to wake up and go for a morning walk. I would recommend this accomodation to everybody! Thankyou for a lovely (short) stay!

Lovely stay in scenic and peaceful location. Hosts were very welcoming with everything warm and clean on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the Stables to friends and family.

Wow! Such an amazing property! But, if you arriving after dark, be sure and get clear directions first. It is rural and very dark with minimal signage and rough roads. It’s on a working agricultural estate. But it will all be worth it when you wake up to the amazing views in the morning! Inside the house is nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. Can hike around right out the front door. Or, check out AllTrails for nearby longer hikes. We loved our stay here. Would definitely return.

We travelled with two tweens an a puppy. The cottage was plenty big enough, warm and comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen and very well set up for pets (enclosed garden area and an enclosed area to let dogs run on the grounds). Nice touch was the washing up liquid and cloths for the kitchen. Also great to have a smart TV so you can use your subscriptions. Rebecca and her partner were very approachable and accommodating, meeting us in person to welcome us and show us the cottage and when we checked out. We used the pool one evening - make sure you have £1 coins for the sauna - which is a great addition to your stay. Would stay here again as a base for this part of Scotland.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

A beautiful and peaceful find indeed! A lovely modern lodge with all amenities, in a very quiet & peaceful park. Everything was very well presented, perfect for a relaxing weekend. There are some spectacular beaches nearby for gentle walks, a must for the stay here. Martin was very helpful and on hand for any questions.

This was just what me and my friend needed. A couple of days away from working life and the stresses. Caravan was immaculate, had everything you needed and felt like a little haven and home from home

I booked this last minute for myself and my wife as a quick getaway after our wedding. I booked for same day check in, the Lodge was immaculate and exactly as described. I advised David we had just married a couple days prior and were looking for a quiet escape from all the wedding madness. upon arrival there was a rose petal love heart on the bed, a card addressed to us congratulating us on our recent marriage and a bottle of wine in the fridge. considering I made this booking only a few short hours before the check in, this was a lovely touch and was much appreciated. the stay was exactly what we wanted, somewhere peaceful to be together and switch off from the world for a couple of days. This ticked all the boxes and we will definitely be back. thank you David.

Just home from a weekend stay with our 2 young kids. We had a fantastic few days, some well needed down time ahead of a busy Christmas. The lodge was beautiful inside & out with everything you needed & more. The hot tub was a great addition - even in the Scottish rain! Karen is a superb host, couldn’t recommend this place enough! We will 100% be back in the summer months x

I booked Dorota’s place last minute for a peaceful get away with my daughter and friend It was everything we needed and more Peaceful and so beautiful It’s right on the end on the corner next to the gate to go into the forest and the field opposite with the horses made it for me Sat on the balcony with a cuppa listening to the birds and watching the horses The place is decorated so cute and feels so homely and has everything you need Dorota kept in touch throughout I was really felt like I was in a good friends place The dogs loved it lots of new smells along the forest walks and beautiful lochs My daughter and her friend went fishing both days Overall we had a lovely couple of days away We will definitely be back Thank you

Everything was clean and perfect. Tracy is an amazing host, very kind and never hestitates to help, when you need it.

Beautiful, spacious house, and immaculately clean. Perfect for group stays. All the en-suites, and the two lounges, allow you some privacy and plenty of space to spread out. And the welcome pack was a nice touch. Peaceful, with beautiful outlook to the river. But lovely restaurants, takeaways, pubs and shops within a short walking distance. And some nice little nearby towns and villages to visit. Friendly hosts who respond very quickly to messages. Would happily stay here again, and definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable stay and felt like home away from home. We were a family of five and the cottage was perfect. The beds were comfortable and all rooms were clean. Instructions were clear. Janice was quick to respond to any questions/recommendations regarding our trip. Will checkout this place if we are around the area again.

2nd stay at Gary & Leah’s home for visiting family. Great location & equipped with everything you would need. Will be back in the next few months.

We had a wonderful stay at Helen's. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway and the cabin has everything you need for your stay. The surroundings and enclosed field are fantastic if you bring your dogs and we loved being able to have breakfast and dinner outside in the fresh air. Helen is a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble. We'd highly recommend a visit to Little Minnows for anyone looking for some proper Scottish countryside surroundings. Thank you Helen, we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. The house exceeded our expectations, with peaceful surroundings and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy, including a garden. It felt lovely and secluded and yet was a short drive from Rothesay and all of the amenities there. The wood burning stove was an added bonus, and made the place feel very homely. Ulrike was a wonderful and very thoughtful host, who even brought some games and toys along so that our young children had something to play with on rainy days. Overall, Balmory Stables is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it.
