Hotel vacation rentals in Maui County

The overall experience was good. Michelle had very good communication throughout the process. Check-in was very easy when we arrived. Th unit (2 bedroom) was clean and fairly well equipped. We cooked in several dinners and I had to improvise some but the unit had all the basics I needed. The bedrooms were spacious and once weekly housekeeping service was included to change the sheets, towels, etc so that was very nice and helpful. This Westin location is very easy for families and the pools and beaches were great. There is easy snorkeling right in front of the Westin and even though it was a holiday week during New Year's it didn't feel too crowded. Parking is free and the location is very close to Lahaina town for shopping and restaurants and also Whalers Village shopping. The Westin has a shuttle that runs to both these locations and their other properties so that was also helpful. Overall, I do recommend this location and Michelle's property for a stay in Maui. Only one thing to note about the set up of the 2 bedroom is that there is a little entry and then the unit has a large studio bedroom + sofa + small kitchen + bathroom on one side with its own door/entrance and then the other side has the one bedroom + living area+ larger kitchen + larger bath. This worked great for us as we had 2 teenagers and put them in the studio but if you have young children you might not want them completely separate from you (although I guess you could prop the doors open to each unit).

Book now! This is the place to stay when visiting Maui! The resort is incredible, multiple pools, and right on the beach. The sunset from the resort and beach are amazing - picture perfect! Downtown Lahaina is right down the road for shopping and more restaurant options. Jonathan made check in a breeze with the front desk and was great with communication throughout the booking process. Highly recommended staying here!

Absolutely a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Maui’s upcountry!! The breakfast & coffee served was the cherry on top!

Ken was super helpful when booking. There was no need to contact him for our stay, as the staff were very accommodating. Our view and stay was beyond expectations. Definitely would love to book again in the future.

The property and the room was great. We would definitely use Phil’s place again. We had a great view from the 3rd floor of the pool area and ocean view. One thing that stood out was the impeccable service, from the bell hop, valet, or calling guest services for additional supplies for the room everybody was so nice and pleasant. Yes, daily valet is free. We asked for extra paper towels, toilet paper, ice, dish soap and all was brought within minutes. The balcony/lanai was also something that stood out from other properties, it was large with chairs, lounger, and table for 4. You also get access to the Hyatt property next door, which is very nice too. You won’t find a better location, close to other great resorts, restaurants and Whalers Village. Phil was very informative and easy to communicate with, great owner. Just an FYI… guests have to pay the Maui occupancy tax, which ours was $29 a day, it’s based on room size.

We booked the Westin in a studio and the host double booked so we were moved to the Marriot Ocean Club to a 1 bedroom. Marriot amenities and activities definitely ended up being an upgrade. Went and saw the Westin including the rooms just to compare what we initially booked. Room was smaller at Westin but definitely nicer rooms. Resort service from the Marriot was top notch. Drinks and food were all excellent. Free laundry room and laundry soap. The best pool area in Maui bar none. We went to the Four Seasons/Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea/Hyatt Regency/ Ritz Carlton for dinners and drinks and the Marriot Ocean Club pool area beat them all. Every activity possible available on site you could think of. So reminder this review is about the Marriot resort making our trip memorable as we did not end up at the westin

We absolutely loved our stay. Sabrina and Tim’s condo was perfect. The location is great. We were able to walk the boardwalk north and south each day. They also have golf carts that can take you down to the beach. At the cabana they have extra chairs for the beach as well as towels. The condo is very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the snacks provided especially the Maui Gold Pineapple. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. We only used one of the beds and it was very comfortable. Sabrina thought of all the little things you might need if you forgot something. You can tell they love hosting. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to return someday. ❤️🌈🏝️🌺

Was a bit worried staying at this Airbnb without Marriott being able to confirm our reservation at time of booking, but Catalina assured us that the hotel will have our booking info at least 15 days before our arrival. Apart from the anxiety, everything was as described in the listing with the exception of parking being free or included which originally we were informed was extra. Also, there was the hotel tax of some sort which was minimal - about $9 for 3 nights. Biggest reason why we chose this Airbnb was its location. Having stayed at the Sheraton before which is up the road, the Marriott Maui Ocean Club is right on Kaanapali beach where most of the luxury resorts are and close to Whalers village if you’re looking for good food and shopping. Amenities on the property such as the pool and other activities for the kids were a big plus (see hotels website for more details). As for a the host, she was super responsive and answered all our inquiries in a timely manner. 🤩

Kim was an amazing, responsive Host. The place is beautiful, our suite was private and our very quiet. It’s one of the nicest of the resorts along that strip. It’s not too far from whalers village and there’s a shuttle that takes you there and back regularly. There is also walking trail that runs along the beach, and you’re able to walk quite a long distance. There are clean BBQs for you to use, the jacuzzi is kept for use only for over 16 years of age (thank you!!). One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. Staff were lovely and helpful too! We had a bit of a glitch trying to check in because my name had been provided with spelling errors which caused a delay, but Kim was immediately responsive to help fix this up. Thanks Kim!!!!

Incredible place. Room was amazing and wonderful view of the pool and the lite walkways at night. Just beautiful. Bed was comfortable and plenty of room. Bathroom was gorgeous with the best shower. The pools and beach are wonderful. Been coming to Hawaii for 20 years and by far the best snorkeling (from a hotel beach) I have seen. The coral is coming back! And felt like we were in an aquarium. Simply stunning

We had an incredible 12-day stay at this Airbnb with my wife and our 8-month-old baby! The property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which gave us such peace of mind traveling with a little one. The location was great —beach is basically steps off the back patio, shops and the boardwalk—making it super convenient for family outings. The space was comfortable, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for an stress-free stay.

This place far surpassed our expectations. I have never been to Maui and both the resort and location was the perfect combo for a family traveling with kids. The pool is great, and the beach is great for surfing, boogie boarding, snorkeling…..everything. The resort itself is sparkling clean with attention to detail and plenty of space in the rooms. We were expecting to have a kitchen and our unit did not have one, so if that’s a priority I would recommend requesting when booking.
