House vacation rentals in Matterhorn

Wonderful wonderful wonderful - really a magical out of this world place!!! The views were from a fantasy book. The chalet was perfect, we enjoyed tremendously!!!!!

Absolutely perfect house, beautiful interiors and insanely spotless like I’ve never seen before, it’s practically a showroom from the pages of a magazine! There is a great clear view down to the lake but it’s very close to the neighbours on three sides which I didn’t realize, the garden is practically shared and we were a bit unlucky on our first night the teenagers next door spent the evening having a smoking and drinking (and swearing!) session which put an end to our relaxing evening! But this absolutely beyond the control of the host who was AMAZING. The pool was mildly heated so swimmable in cold weather and would be perfect in summer.

It was one of the best airbnb experiences ever! Highly recommended!

Casa Larga is located above Brissago and can be reached on foot in 2 minutes from the reserved parking lot. The views are sensational and it's extremely quiet. The house is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. The beds are comfortable and pleasant bed linens are provided. The kitchen is so well equipped, even the most ambitious cook lacks nothing. The rooms are all very large and bright and very welcoming. However, you have to keep in mind that it has very large window areas and it can therefore get warm in intense sunlight.

We felt very comfortable in the house Everything as on the pictures , pool was also great , barbecue was available , enough space to park. Andrea was very friendly, the communication was excellent and otherwise we were also satisfied.

Thank you again Paul and Véronique for your very friendly welcome. We had a great week at your cottage where everything is functional, cozy, very clean and in a great location. It's a pleasure to enjoy the outdoors with a heated pool. We'll be happy to go back. 🤩👋

We were there in October with small children. The accommodation offers everything it needs and is very warmly furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. Right on the first day, Alessandra's father came by with a welcome gift. He was very warm and helpful. The large garden with the fireplace and a breathtaking view was the highlight. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked delicious dishes every day. There are a lot of toys in the house, for children of all ages. The village is very and authentic. We were able to see various wildlife in the area. A beautiful valley that has something mystical about it at this time of year. The steep slopes with countless waterfalls, the colored leaves and the morning bubble rising out of the woods. Scenic villages on the southern slopes. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. Loved it! The view,, I mean wow! It was breathtaking!! 🫶 Sure it took 20 minutes by walk from train station, but it was totally worth it. We stayed for 3 nights! And I wish we’d stayed more. Everyone at interhome was very very nice! I do want to come back for my honeymoon! strongly recommend this place for young people! (Cuz my mom didn’t like the walking part haha)

very friendly reception everything present really everything and very clean nice and warm and very big house to yourself we were 8 person hosts respond to any question right away house is clearly findable pay attention to the head downstairs with beams carrying the ceiling, upstairs fine and beds are long and wide again

We had a wonderful stay in Fiorella’s home! Comfortable and cozy, matched the description. A very quick and easy walk to cafes and restaurants, as well as Lake Maggiore. Fiorella even provided a crib for our baby, which was so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful cottage, even better than in the pictures! Joffrey is welcoming, responsive and very friendly. The location of the cottage is ideal for skiing, there is everything you need for a great stay. We highly recommend it.

We have had a memorable time at Maja's house. There are 11 people in our group. Our children loved this house a lot. It was the first time they saw snow falling down from the sky, they were so excited. However, we had an unexpected heavy snow on the second day of our stay. The next day, I think we have about 1 m thick snow. The road to the village was closed. There was no electricity for the whole village. We have got the news and helpful instruction from our host from time to time. We really appriciate their help. We booked Maja's place for 2 nights but we could not get out from the village due to the thick snow. Maja let us stay at her place for some more nights free of charge until the road open and we can drive out from the village. Our children were still having good time with snow. Above all, we feel save and sound staying in this house and village. The neigbour is very nice. We met many people in the village , they are so friendly to us. Thank you very much for everything.

We had a lovely stay with the family at Karen and Kevin's cottage. The views are beautiful and the terrace is very nice. The cottage is large, functional and suitable for family stays. We'll be back again…

Great stay in a very well located place including for the Bear Fair and all visits to chateaux and forts. We will come back for other occasions and we thank Renato a big thank you to Renato to take great care for us!

It is already second time we pass our skiing vacation at Frederike’s place and again we have greatly enjoyed it! You have everything you need to feel like at home and we absolutely recommend this chalet.

Nice stay and quiet area. The host was kind and gave us the guidance we needed. Easy check-in and flexible time as you arrive late in the evening. Some lights in the house didn't work, like the bathroom lights, but overall it was a nice weekend. Recommended! :)

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

Visited with friends for cycling, was perfect location for the nearby famous climbs, house well equipped to cater for cyclists with space for bikes, tools are provided etc. Loads of space. Quite quirky collection of stuff in the house. Communication with Emma was really easy and quick, thank you Emma!

A stay at the top thanks to Dom! Whenever we needed something, he was there. Kind, helpful and attentive, it made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation was spotless, super well-equipped (special mention for the raclette and fondue machine, essential after a good day on the slopes!). In short, a 5-star experience, we'll be back without hesitation. Thank you Dom, you are the king of the track... and hospitality!

We had a great stay up at Wilerbädli for the second year. The location for our courses and the size make it a fantastic base. The house has a lot of character. Christian is always responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely time in this home! Carlo was very kind and helpful- he was there whenever we needed help. The house is very nice and modern, with most utilities you will need. The property is beautiful, spacious and quiet! We had a few little things throughout our stay, but nothing major. The beds were a bit harder than we like. It’s a bit difficult to go up and down those stairs, especially at night to the bathroom. Also, the stairs in the second bedroom are steep and difficult to navigate. The main bedroom has two holes high up on the wall so light always comes in. There is construction on the property which can be loud if sitting outside, but can’t hear much while inside. The couch area only fits 3 maybe 4 people- it was fine for us but it would be difficult if there is more people. And we wish the tv was a smart tv so we could stream something. Overall, the house is very nice. The property is well kept and pretty. We had a great time and we hope to come back!
