Vacation rentals with a patio in Matavera District

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach. The host is amazing, and the villa is beautiful x

Great Location. Just something to mention There are 5 new studios being built constructed just below this accommodation. We were out some of the time but just be aware. Also the top pool was a bit cooler than the lower pool but depending on which level your leasing. There are 2 individual levels that can be rented out separately. Thank you

We had the most amazing stay here. The home was absolutely beautiful and we felt right at home almost instantly, we had everything we needed, including some fresh fruit, cereal and milk etc which gave us time to settle in (and sleep in!). It was dark when we arrived in Raro, Lynn proactively gave us great directions to find the place before we landed, this was great communication and eased the stress of getting lost! We really didn't want to leave. We felt very safe here which helped us rest and recovery from the daily grind of life. We loved being amongst the nature of Rarotonga, the mountains, beautiful gardens and animals right at our doorstep. We had arrange for transport from the airport so finding the place was easy. Mii, the owner did that for us. The air b&b was as described, however the owner was so pleasant and helpful that I have to give this place a five star+ rating. We made a mistake and only stayed 6 days. Rarotonga required 10 days and good hiking shoes.

Such a beautiful and spacious house. The outside area is beautiful with a pool, spa and pond and an outside kitchen/bar and BBQ. There’s a really sweet dog that waited at our door every morning for pats. Close to the beach and just a 10 min walk to Charlie’s! Only down fall was the water pressure - showers dripped out water. Thanks for having us!

This place is way better than the pics show! Tia has simple instructions and allowed us to book on the day as we were looking for somewhere else to stay! Such a great host! The VIEW as soon as you open the door was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The pics just do not do this place justice! It is so magically beautiful! The large deck allows the whole family to spend time together and there are Kayaks and BBQ and snorkels that you can use on the beach just down the stairs of the deck! There are outdoor showers to clean sand as you come up to the deck. The kitchen and rooms are large open spaces really great for families! The bathroom has access from outside and inside! Overall this place is amazing!! Thank you Tia for hosting us!

Thank you to the wonderful Malina! There was nothing that she wouldn’t and couldn’t do for you. Malina was extremely accomodating and helpful. There were no issues with communication, Malina was able to answer queries in a timely manner. Te Rama retreat is immaculate, quite central and close to everything that Rarotonga has to offer. I would totally recommend absolutely suitable for all sorts of groups, families. Totally beautiful and truly one of a kind. X

"This place is just perfect", was said multiple times over our 7 night stay. In October, the Trade winds come in from the East, so this place was perfectly located on the calm side. It had everything we needed and more, and so stylishly decorated that we felt very lucky to have found it. There are several comfortable places to hang outdoors and a large lawn that was enjoyed by my 5 year old nephew. Five mins walk from the local beach with nice snorkeling. Do bring earplugs for the roosters crowing throughout the night, which I would recommend anywhere on the island. We rented a car right from the airport which was super convenient. Sue is a wonderful communicative and friendly host. I definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

Stunning accomodation. One of our most favourite in Rarotonga and we come here often. Look forward to staying here again. Hopefully the driveway will be concrete as was a struggle getting up on gravel as driveway was really steep. :) otherwise - house and views 100/100

Was an awesome place to stay. The spot was private and peaceful, absolutely loved staying here and having as our base. Joseph and Odette were super friendly, very welcoming and quick to respond to messages. We will defiantly look at booking again in the future.

This house was PERFECT for our stay. It had everything our extended family of 10 needed. There were so many spaces to sit and relax both inside and outside. The pool was beautiful - private and sheltered from the wind. The deck area had stunning views and the beautiful beach right there was such a treat. We loved having our breakfast sitting watching the ocean - one morning we watched a whale jump and play while sitting there. The snorkeling in front of the house was excellent (lots to see) and the kayaks were handy. There were heaps of pool toys for the kids along with adult life jackets and plenty of towels. The TV and speaker were great, as were the big fridges, freezer and wifi. The pick up for the key was easy, and the team quickly responded when we had a minor maintenance issue. Air con and fans meant it wasn't too hot sleeping. The house was very conveniently located near Wigmores superstore and takeaways, Circles cafe for coffee and Vaima for dinner. We will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely host and very attentative. Beautiful view from the house. Would recommend this place.
