Beautiful home in serene setting. Lovely interior spaces (three leaving areas with six comfortable sofas in total) and two wonderful porches with very comfortable sofas and seats. Heaps of great books. The four bedrooms are very comfortable in a seperate wing.

Our Senior Leadership came together for planning and I was tasked with finding a venue for the five of us. This place was perfect for our needs. It is a beautiful house and the grounds are amazing. It was the perfect place for us to be inspired to do our work... though it was also inspiring us to relax rather than work. There are a number of spaces you can go to relax or work, but we had a long table that suited our needs. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, as well as seasonings, condiments etc. Both of the upstairs bedrooms have an ensuite and the downstairs bedroom is located across the corridor from a bathroom. The spa pool was a perfect way to end a long day of work. This place was perfect for us, but it could equally be perfect for a family or friends getaway, or for a romantic retreat. Alice is great with communications, is responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here if it suits your needs.

Very comfortable accommodation close to the town. Everything we needed although for some reason Wifi was difficult to get into. Maybe our age!! One of our group said her bed was the most comfortable bed she had slept in for years. Thank you very much

We had a wonderful time at Birdsong Cottage! the location amongst the trees is magical and it lives up to its name with birds singing all day long. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked, while the hot tub was the cherry on top of a day spent sight seeing. We highly recommend Birdsong Cottage!

Loved our stay at Marty’s place - the cottage had everything we needed and more. Great location, a handy walk to the town square. Marty went out of his way to accomodate us, which was much appreciated!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The setup was perfect for our family. Our kids especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of beach toys, books, and games, which kept them entertained during downtime. The kitchen was hands down the best we've ever encountered in an Airbnb—well-stocked, modern, and spacious, making meal prep a breeze. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore. We also loved having the BBQ to use, which made for some great family dinners. Overall, a fantastic place for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a little extra attention to detail. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the blackbird house. Nigel and Rebecca were very friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with - and even left a hamper of goodie treats on the bench for us on arrival, as well as some fresh herbs from the garden. The house is spacious, sunny, comfortable with a big, fully fenced yard and tons of kitchen and household amenities and implements. The square is about a 1-2 minute walk away. Would highly recommend.

A peaceful and quiet retreat for a weekend getaway. The little touches such as the fresh flowers and chocolate were a thoughtful surprise. We also enjoyed meeting one of the furry four legged neighbours. This was the perfect location to retreat to after attending events in Greytown (a short car drive just out of the centre of Greytown ). I only wish we had been able to stay longer to read some of the books available ( I did manage to finish my own book that I had bought along).

Absolutely lovely. Four of us stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments and we all thought it was spectacular. Lovely clean and modern apartment and beautiful grounds with a huge private outdoor deck, table and lawn. Lovely, quiet location but still only a 15 minute walk into town. Would highly recommend!

La Rocque Cottage in Martinborough is a lovely villa hosted by Megan, who was very friendly and responsive. The house itself was a good size for three adults and a puppy, plus it was clean, comfortable, and easy to heat on a chilly day. The propery is also fully fenced, which was great for our puppy. We had a lovely weekend away and recommend La Rocque Cottage for your next weekend away in Martinborough!

Our group an absolutely wonderful stay at Lisa’s beautiful property. The expansive lawn, dotted with gorgeous trees, provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. We loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and spotting the animals on the property—it truly felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Beautiful and very spacious home. We enjoyed our stay so much. The pool and spa was the highlight for the kids. Sarah was an amazing host, very responsive. We loved our stay here! The place was beautiful and the backyard was incredible with big beautiful trees for privacy as well as a great pool and tennis court. The house is well spread out for a big group and Angela’s communication was perfect. Will definitely be recommending to others :)

Beautiful old house. Pics on here don't do the place justice, heaps of space and very comfy bed. Super close to the centre and within walking distance of all the places you'd want in Upper Hutt.

Really great value, a beautiful old villa, with the bonus of a modern kitchen and pool. The beds are all big with nice linens and the rooms are furnished with pretty, vintage furniture. It was better than the photos! William kindly offered us a late checkout without us even asking for it, which was much appreciated.

Really lovely stay, and a very responsive host who was brilliantly accommodating to our needs (with portacot arranged, and flexibility around our check out when we realised baby would be napping at 10am!). Thanks so much :)
