Beautiful, comfortable and cozy! I’m a local and wanted a place close by to study for an important exam. It was quiet and peaceful. I was able to step out and walk the path around the lake nearby when I needed some air or walk 20 minutes to a cute local cafe, The Battery Cafe. The bed was large and comfortable. Lovely shower with great water pressure. I didn’t get the chance to use the sauna, but did get to use the adorable little wood stove. The kitchen is kitted out well and with high quality appliances and utensils. I look forward to renting this place again in the future!

Had the best weekend getaway with my girlfriends! 🥳 The hosts were amazing—super responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as described, which was such a relief. We did have a tiny hiccup with a leaky toilet, but no biggie. We got to meet Skipper, who came over right away to fix it. Seriously, he's got the best “poppy” vibes and was so friendly. This spot was perfect for us gals who just wanted to kick back, relax, and indulge in some serious snacks. 🍕🍷 The swim spa across the way was a fun add-on! We didn’t check it out until the second night, and we regret not going sooner. It’s such a cool addition with a little changing room and a bathroom for convenience. Thoughtful touches like that made it even better. Highly recommend this place for a laid-back, fun escape! ✨

Absolutely amazing experience. I am a frequent traveler and this has to be one of the top places and experiences we have had. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had, the home was stunning. Very clean, very spacious with no clutter just everything that you need placed elequently. The view from the massive patio was picture perfect. Would definitely recommend this to other traveller's. Such a peaceful experience.

Beautiful, roomy, well equipped, comfortable homelike feeling. Extremely quiet peaceful environment. Short walk to harbor and fishing fleet. Amy was very accommodating. Restaurants and stores a short 10 minute drive. A very picturesque area! We are planning to return!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway! We loved our stay at the salty moose! The owners were responsive and accommodating. They had everything you would need for a home away from home experience, they even provided eggs from their own chickens and other treats. There is a hot tub with loads of towels and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely book this location again if we were back in the area.

David’s home was perfect. Clean, tons of room, everything we wanted or needed. It was in the best location, within walking distance to everything. Close to restaurants, grocery store and coffee shops. You can even see Signal Hill from the front window. The parking pass was also much appreciated so we could park right out front. Will definitely be staying here the next time we visit family in St John’s again!!

The location of the cabin is breathtaking, Ken and his family have thought of everything you could possibly need; they are such sweet hosts. Waking up to the wonderful view from the patio was unique. The location of the cabin is also a plus, being so close to La Manche. Me and my partner came here for Christmas and had a wonderful time. We are so glad to meet such a hospitable family who loves nature and animals. We highly recommend to stay there!
