Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Marquette County

The house was great for our family, two adults and 3 teens, for a long weekend. It was helpful to have the extra space on the back porch to store our skis and would be great if we come back with our bikes in the future. The location was walkable to shops, restaurants and a short drive to NMU campus and downtown. We appreciated the local coffee and Trenary Toast provided. We also greatly appreciate the time and care that was taken to clear the driveway of snow from a blizzard that passed through before our arrival!

We were very pleased with our first stay. The house was very spacious, had well stocked kitchen which made meal preparation very easy. Bedrooms were good size. House was even decorated for Christmas with a real tree. Loved all the little touches in the home.

Lovely stay in a comfortable home. Squeaky clean, very responsive host. Charming architecture, woodwork and some lovely furnishings, which gave it loads of character. Tastefully decorated. Well-supplied kitchen - be sure to check the coat closet at side door for more cooking essentials (griddle and large pot). Easy door access and lovely front porch/furniture. Plenty of parking, close to everything g in Marquette. Comfortable beds and loved the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Quiet neighbors, safe area. One thing to note: our small shih tzu could fit through the slats in the large fenced-in yard, so needed supervision while outside. Wonderful accomodating and attentive host - thanks for the great stay, Eletta!

Absolutely perfect location and home! Perfect for work or travel with the family and close to everything on third street. We ended up with about 2ft of snow during our stay and Carrie was there shoveling the very next day! Very proactive and accommodating host.

We had such an amazing stay here! We were in town for a Hockey tournament, so we didn’t get to explore much; but the home was so cozy, we were happy to come right back to it after each game to recharge! Clean, cozy, with incredible views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! *my only note, the bedding was super light and a little scratchy. We ended up buying some fuzzy blankets to sleep with, because we like something with a little more heft. But that’s just a personal opinion. Not worth taking a star away for!

Everything we needed in a nice comfy home for ourselves and our dog. Never before have we felt our dog was as welcomed as we were! Lots of thoughtful amenities too. Fenced backyard was super.

We really loved the location and the private fenced in yard, it was great for our pet. The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable and close to everything. Amy was very proactive prior to our arrival and getting in and out was super easy. We also loved the plants and the pottery, very nice. Thank you again Amy for allowing us to stay in your home.

Absolutely lovely! Beautifully decorated and curated, cosy, amazing kitchen, open spaces but intimate and relaxing, tons of board games, across the street from the library, just wonderful! Will certainly book again, and will recommend to others!

Had an awesome time at Debora’s place. The decor was so fun to look at, and the location is within walking distance of everything downtown. Would definitely stay again!

Sue’s place was sooo cozy for a winter visit! She had everything we needed and the beds were a dream ! My son reported to the USCG station and was able to look sharp with the mirrors and iron.. We will definitely be back to Sue!

Pam’s place is a diamond in the rough. With a secluded spot just off the main road, it’s situated at a very walkable part of the city, even when under twenty feet of snowfall! The beds were very comfortable, and the extra blankets were a huge must for me. Thankfully, we also had access to a washer and dryer, meaning we were never piling up on dirty clothes or towels. None of this it to mention Pam herself, who is such a sweetheart alongside her dog, Jake. She really made my friend and I feel like family, and we feel honored to have been given some time to stay in her apartment. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at Rachel's property! It was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Rachel was very accessible and responded to me very quickly with the few questions I had. The location is perfectly situated just off Third and is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants on Third Street and downtown. We will stay again and would recommend to anyone!

We loved our stay! There was a coffee pot maker and a keurig there as well. Great location for walking. Loved the bar by the window! Had internet TV for the kiddos. For being just an upstairs space it had a lot of room and everything we needed! Also liked the big entryway for removing all the snow gear.

If you are considering staying here, just book it. You will only be glad you did. It is a stunning place to stay. You can honestly just go grab some groceries and prepare food in the amazing kitchen and stay in and enjoy the view if you need to recharge and it would be worth it. The space is that beautiful. But the location is so awesome you can walk to anything you would need. A true gem.

I’ve had my eye on this BnB for years and finally had an excuse and big enough group to book it! This space was everything I expected and more! The kitchen was beautiful and spacious! The living room was comfy and the big enough for everyone to unwind at the end of the night. Each room had so much character and charm. I could go on and on! This space did not disappoint!!!! Plus, the location was walking distance to so many wonderful shops and restaurants! I highly recommend!

5 Stars isn’t enough! Anne’s place is magnificent. It’s in a perfect downtown location walkable to so many wonderful places including the lower harbor…the views are spectacular…the furnishings are well thought out and the space is comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home and look forward to our next stay. The only bummer is it isn’t mine to call home! Bravo 👏🏼

Great location in the heart of downtown, great views of the lake and within walking distance to many great bars and restaurants. Furniture has been moved since pictures taken and we actually like the new placement of furniture better than what is shown in the listing! Perfect for a larger family stay, very cozy and host was extremely responsive! Definitely recommend
