Vacation rentals with a patio in Margate Beach

Had such a wonderful stay in the apartment. Great hosting, everything we needed was available. Very clean apartment with Beautiful view of ocean.

Fantastic ! From the host to the magnificent accomadation. Could not have expected anything more . The views, condition of the place , easy walking access to the beach was simply marvelous. We had an awesome time . Will be back for sure .

Alicia was a wonderful host. We struggled a bit finding the location with GPS but it was not much of a hassle. Loved the spacious house and rooms and it was very quiet and peaceful. The children loved it especially as it is a short walking distance to the beach. We struggled with the Jacuzzi tripping the electrical plugs but Alicia responded swiftly.

Honestly happy with everything. Mariemuthoo was very friendly and accommodating. The place is close to a shopping centre and petrol station. The rooms were nice and big he also had extra blankets for us which were washed and clean. Great place for group vacation. Will definitely be coming back

Wow, what an amazing place - my family and I had the best holiday ever - the place was super clean, very well equipped, responsive host - our own secluded beach with loads of shells (if you're a collector like me). Really enjoyed being in the house. Loved the fact that there were two lounge areas. Beautiful seating outside the lounges. Loved the fire pit where we sat and recapped the weekend on our last night

The home is absolutely perfectly located. Close enough to the beach for a quick walk and far enough to be out of the wind for those windy days. Should you not wish to spend the day on the beach the home has a beautiful deck, swimming pool and outside dinning table with a view of a beautiful garden and the sea. Can’t recommend it highly enough. And then there is the lovely helper Dorkis. She cleans the house twice a day and makes sure everyone is happy. Fabulous holiday. Will definitely be booking the same house again.

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Vicki's place. The house had everything we needed, the view was amazing (dolphins, whales, birds), Vicki was always responsive, and the three minute walk to the beach directly down from the house was perfect. It's a 10 minute beach walk down to the official Umzumbe Beach with its lifeguards/amenities/surfers. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We saw joggers and people walking their dogs, and we always felt quite safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized Regina the helper one day and she was great. As we're not used to setting/disarming alarms, we struggled a bit with the alarm system, but we eventually got the hang of it. We experienced load shedding one evening, but with the propane/gas oven and all of the candles plus large flashlights available, this was actually enjoyable. We plan to return!

Mark and Liza’s cottage is just the sanctuary I needed to escape to ! The love and care that has gone into the decoration of this home makes it such a personal and calming space. I arrived to fresh flowers , muffins , cheeses , crackers - it was such a warm welcome . Liza checked in with me often to make sure everything was ok, even though it was wonderful on all counts. One of the nicest warmest and most private and secure Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks so much Liza. !

We had an awesome stay at Shale Beach House. It has everything you need; you don't have to drive anywhere. It is such a peaceful private area; the sea is literally on your doorstep. We loved the jacuzzi bath, jacuzzi and rim flow pool and the permanent ice maker, but there is so many things that make it comfortable to stay in! Wilson was a delight to deal with, had a really easy check in, he always around if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nelius for opening up your beautiful home!

What a great experience. If you're an early riser who enjoys a good sunrise, set your alarm clock and make your way out of bed to the balcony. I promise it's worth it. Among the best sunrises I've watched and filmed! AND, an absolute bonus on our final early morning on the balcony... Dolphins surfing in the waves, whales coming up for air, and even potential shark breaches in the background! Plus I must mention the wealth of nature sounds and bird life in view. Between Jared and Erika, they did a great job hosting us. Definitely visiting again in the near future.

This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Very spacious inside with stunning full seaview together with a huge balcony where you can sit and dine whilst feeling the sea breeze. I will go back again anytime and the host is very friendly and helpful. Wow

Best Ever Stay. We are on a 4 week road trip and this was the best place we have ever stayed in and we have been using Airbnb for many years. Everything was spot on. The bedding was of a high quality and the bed very comfortable The sofa's also the comfiest we have ever had. (other usually are hard) The apartment has absolutely everything you could possibly need from washing machine down to a beach bag. Everything has been well thought out and it was a pleasure to stay there. I just wish we could have stayed longer as it was truly a home from home. The view of the river and beach was very peaceful. Several nice local restaurants . Book this now You won't find anywhere better Trust me. It's the absolute best spot.
