Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Margaretville

Pretty house and incredible setting. Hot tub and fire pit were beautiful and we absolutely loved the walk from the house to the creek and spent a long time picnicking and just enjoying the rocks and water by the bank of the creek. The place was smaller than we expected from the photos and tight for 2 families- we were 4 adults and 2 kids total. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a beautiful weekend getaway!

What an amazing stay ! David was super attentive and helpful from inception . A one of a kind host . Me and my family had the please of staying in David’s beautiful home to spend the holiday of thanksgiving and what an experience it was . From the warm cozy cabin feeling , to the luxury of the heated indoor pool and sauna . This was truly a remarkable and beautiful experience for the ages. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a calm getaway in a very quite town where your only true surrounding are the beauty of nature. Thanks again to David and his team for an amazing experience , and we’ll be looking forward to staying here again in the near future . Go ski season !

Staying at the Beaver Lake Escape was great! It was a very quite and peaceful area, and the house was immaculate when we arrived. Loved soaking in the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked last minute and were very happy with our stay. We felt right at home and had such a nice time with our sons. The beds are comfortable and the entire house is kept clean and neat. There was a great little place literally steps away to get a nice meal and a beverage or two. We stayed in bottom level. Jaimin was very easy to communicate with.

Nothing but great things to say about this house. Amazing location that's close to everything. Very cozy home that we didn't want to leave. Great sleep. Beautiful creek running behind the home. We want to go back tomorrow lol

Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place to spend Christmas! Our stay was so lovely, this place is gorgeous, has so many amenities and perks and is in such a stunning location. It’s completely private and isolated, but the drive to the town, stores, skiing is only a few minutes away. This place is perfect overall, if you’re in the area I cannot recommend booking this place enough!! The host was also incredible responsive and helpful, he responded to me so quickly any time I reached out and walked me through everything. Thank you for the most incredible few days!

This was a lovely stay. The home is very gorgeous, clean and exactly what was expected. Adele was very communicative and helpful throughout the process. I would recommend and would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the backyard are stunning and the firepit was a great addition. The location! fantastic! We were able to walk to Hunter Mountains, local restaurants and pubs. The house was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

This is our second stay since March, and it’s just as great as we remembered. The place is pristine clean, and the location is perfect for easy access to the ski resort. We’ll definitely be back for our next ski trip!

We loved our stay even though there was some miscommunication about the lockbox code. The house is very cozy and the pantry is well stocked. We had a wonderful weekend with the fireplace and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the cafe downstairs.

Place was amazing! Wood fireplace was a nice touch and Hosts were easy to get in touch with for anything, I highly recommend staying here!

My boyfriend and I had a great time! The view was stunning in the snow, and the place was gorgeous. Theresa and Ben were so kind and welcoming, we’d definitely go back!

John's place was perfect for visiting my in laws in Kingston. The gps got us exactly where we needed to go even though he provided excellent directions. Check in was easy and the place was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Nicely decorated with everything you need without an overwhelming amount of stuff or knickknacks. Anything we needed was easy to find. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Would stay here again!

5 Stars! Perfect space for our visit to Saugerties to spend Thanksgiving with family. Location was ideal for our visit and the apartment was immaculate and cozy! Had the opportunity to quickly meet our kind hosts. We will be back. Thank you.

First off, Kim was nothing short of amazing. I stayed in her place for three days and no matter what time I reached out to her I received a quick response. As far as the property, it was everything advertised. When I arrived at the property, I felt like I’ve been there before because it looked exactly like the pictures. The Hot tub was so nice and clean. On the inside, the place was so clean, in the dining area the setup of the table was decorated. She had extra towels, thankfully because I didn’t think to pack any. Overall it was an amazing trip, if I ever have to stay in Bloomington area again she’s my first option.

Great place to stay. Easy travel to Cooperstown and the town of Oneonta. Major shopping nearby. Cute home nestled among other homes and a small farm. We felt right at home. Cozy yet spacious. It's close to family, so we will stay again.

We had an amazing weekend at the tiny cabin! The location was serene, offering the perfect escape from the daily life. The cabin itself was thoughtfully designed, and utilized efficiently and tastefully. Emily was always available, great hosts. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge and enjoy some peaceful solitude. We'll definitely be back!

Our extended weekend stay was perfect - peaceful and relaxing. Everything was just easy, with thoughtful touches throughout, like a dog bed and a food and water dish for our pup. The firewood ring on the porch was full and the was a bunch of kindling next to it, and there were matches, some newspaper, and starter sticks next to the wood stove. Having coffee, tea, and creamer provided along with cooking oil and some spices was nice as well. We took the host's advice and hiked the Kelly Hollow Trail, and had a lovely dinner at Oda Wine Garden, less than 5 minutes away (highly recommend). It's no surprise that this is a rare find and is usually booked. We hope to visit again!

The cabin is beautiful. Very bright and clean. Great views of the fall foliage from everywhere! Everything worked well as we made use of the kitchen several times. Everything we needed was there. We also took Victoria's recommendations of a couple of places places to go for dinner and cocktails. Both were spot on. Went for a few hikes, beautiful piece of our planet in this area. I made use of the firepit a couple of nights, very convenient.

This cabin is the perfect getaway! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. The sauna and jacuzzi were incredible perks that made our stay even more special. The attention to detail in the cabin was great, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I truly appreciated the cozy yet modern vibe of the space. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene escape. I’d definitely come back!

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. During the days some of us were out in the woods exploring while others stayed in to read a book by the fireplace. In the evenings we took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen for our home cooked meals. The amount of stars you can see in the night sky is amazing! The open layout is conducive for socializing and reminiscing. We brought up some of our favorite board games and enjoyed playing them on the nice and large kitchen table. We can't wait to come back!

Had an amazing baby moon experience here alongside our three pups. Communication was great from Paul and Fran and ended up so happy with the accommodations that we extended our stay another day. Cabin was well stocked with all we needed and the king sized bed was definitely larger than the one we have back at home! Hobart is situated close to some of our favorite dining/shopping in the Catskills, some of which was apart of their local guide. Would gladly come back and stay again. Thank you for being so responsive ! One thing to note was a neighbor's dog kept coming around during our stay. He seemed plenty friendly but we were cautious since he was much larger than our dogs. Nothing to fret about but worthwhile to know for anyone who might be bringing their pups along. Additionally, if snow is present, highly would recommend a vehicle with 4x4. It would help not just with the commute around the area, but also the small hill where the cabin is situated.
