Cozy Cottage on Rye Beach with Lake Erie view!

JessicaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Brad and Kelly place was very nice and close to everything that we needed. This place is all about the little things. They have a guest book that’s so cute and they provided a bottle of wine at check in which was well needed after a 6 hour drive with 5 kids.

Country Cottage in the woods w/all the Amenities!

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
David & Guilda are our go-to when visiting the area! They are truly interested in your stay being a great one, without a doubt the best airbnb we've stayed at. The cottage is beyond expectations, the beds, furniture & furnishings are incredible; and the location is far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the area without being much of a drive from the attractions. The artwork on the walls are from Guilda's own hand in her studio, and have to be seen to be appreciated! Absolutely amazing work! We always look forward to staying with Dave & Guilda at the cottage, and you'd do well to have a look also!

Lake Front Park Cottage - Huron, OH. Lake Erie

KimberlyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was an amazing city to stay in! The house was clean, there was plenty of room, and had basically anything you would need (I forgot to bring shampoo and conditioner and they had some there.) This location is great if you like bird watching or hiking. It is close to Sheldon Marsh, and about 40 mi from Magee Marsh and the Ottawa Wildlife Preserve. There's abundant furniture and plenty of dishes in the kitchen. There are several nice restaurants that are mom and pop restaurants rather than chains, which we really liked. If you like chain restaurants, however, Sandusky is only about 15 mi away and there is any restaurant you'd ever want to eat at in Sandusky. Cedar Point is very close if that is your thing, and the Cleveland Metroparks are only about an hour drive away if you like that type of thing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Location, location, location!!! The beach was just a 5 minute walk (even with loads of beach toys, chairs, and floats- all provided by Cindy!) All 5 of our children (ages 1-18) enjoyed their time- fun for all ages! Cindy was overly accommodating for us throughout our time there. We have officially fallen in love with Lake Erie! 😍

Cottage Old Homestead Huron Ohio

AnthonyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This little house was comfortable, clean and convenient to everything we wanted to see. We took a small walk to the end of the street and were on the beach of Lake Erie. About a 15 minute drive and we were at Cedar Point. There was a gas station close, a Dairy Queen if you prefer burgers and 2 nice dine in restaurants for the more mature palates. It was fully stocked and we lacked nothing during our stay.

The Great Lake Escape Lake❤️Beach❤️Fun❤️Fish❤️Food!

AmyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a great place to stay - central to everything! Steve was incredibly responsive, there was plenty of sleeping space, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the house is very clean, and there's a great garage space to sit in during the summer. My only suggestion is if you are going in the winter and are a light sleeper, plan to use earplugs or a whitenoise app during the night because the furnace is a bit loud (it's in the hall closet, which is pretty common in this area). For what it's worth, my son isn't a light sleeper and it didn't bother him at all.

Adventure by the Lake hosted by Ken and Denise

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a very nice place. It was easy to find and very clean. The only issue we had was with the washer and dryer. The washer did not spin out effectively and we had to hand wring the towels before we put them in the dryer. Also the lint filter on the dryer was dirty when we got there and had to be cleaned before we could use it . Overall it was a good place to stay.

Relax on the River

JordanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I’d definitely recommend and give Chelsea’s river rental 5 stars! My family and I were in town for a weekend trip to the Erie Islands. Best choice we made to stay in this very cozy air b&b directly above a local bakery across the street from the Portage river. Amazing coffee shop and grocery store in walking distance. Very clean and comfortable with charm. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Extremely Private Waterfront Paradise

KarenRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We met up with family to stay on the lake for several days, and it was just perfect. We had 8 adult sized folks, and we fit in just perfectly. The location is just amazing...right on the lake with access to swimming and kayaks. The place felt more roomy than the pictures...there is a really nice sitting room where most of us could sit, plus two screened in porches and plenty of seating outside. Kitchen is extremely well stocked. Central air was key for us and provided a nice respite from the heat. We drove 30 minutes to Cedar Point, and it was close enough that we came home for a few hours to take a break from the heat and went back for the evening. Hosts were just super on it, proactive, and very helpful. Highly recommend. Oh and the outdoor shower really was a highlight. Sounds silly, but we all loved it!
