Martin and Nadja were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is immaculate, newly refurbished and very clean. Lovely location by the lake and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ferry. We were completely happy with the place in Gavirate. As a family we had plenty of space, direct access to the garden and the apartment has everything you need incl. Entertainment material for the kids. The location is quiet and perfect for us as a base for excursions in the area around Varese. We did not meet Matteo on site, but communication with him was straightforward and helpful.

We spent a wonderful week with our family with two children in the beautiful apartment of Sebastiano. The apartment is well laid out, very bright and very tastefully furnished. The sun terrace overlooking the lake is a little paradise. Here you can enjoy the view of the mountains and end the day with a drink. Sebastiano is very friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed the apartment very much.

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

It was a really pleasant stay at the lake house. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the region and the lovely Boho-style interior of the house. It was exactly what we were looking for for a quick weekend getaway :) Also a big plus is the private area near the lake with the possibility to use stand-up paddles and a kayak - unfortunateley for us, it was a bit too cold to use them in december😄 I would definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to come back one day (preferably in summer😄)

Although Casa Pirati is designed for families with children, it also worked for us 8 adults who attended an event in Strambino, a 10-minute drive from the accommodation.

Very great apartment in a quiet, original and authentic location in a small mountain village. You get in touch with neighbors, but you need a car. The house is very lovingly furnished, it has everything you need and is modern and super clean. The view over the old rooftops to the lake is great. You'll feel comfortable even in bad weather. Opposite is a small restaurant (menu 25€ incl. Drinks) where you have to make a reservation. Hikes to the local mountain promise a beautiful view. Supermarket and pizzeria are 1-2km away. Check-in was great via self check-in. Nathalie also contacted us by phone and lovingly explained everything and gave tips. Only the address description is misleading, as Google sends you to the wrong street. But the residents of the street know and explain the right way :-). It's best to ask Nathalie for the geodata. The welcome gift has made up for the short excitement.

It is a very cozy country house in the middle of the mountains on a small winery. We immediately fell in love with this location. The view of the mountains, Lake Maggiore hidden behind palm trees and pampas grass and the Verzasca dam is sensational. It was clean and everything you could need was there. A bit difficult to find, but thanks to Alberto's accessibility by phone, it went very well. A parking space is also available. You have great hiking opportunities, which Alberto sent us as a recommendation. In nearby Gordola you will also find everything you need. We are very happy to come back.
