Great and very responsive host who met us at check in. Nice clean AC rooms, a terrace area that can be used and close proximity to both the beach and the town centre.

Absolutely loved Vishnus place. Was quiet and peaceful and the location next to temple is amazing. Loved the sound of the chanting everyday. I had space to do my yoga on the roof at sunrise. The area is very sweet and free from tourists. I cycled everywhere - its all flat. Great little beaches, bought fish from the fish market on one beach. The kitchen has all you need. Theres a municipal swimming pool in the village. Local buses are brilliant to get around - bus stop at the mango tree opp temple. Went to cinemas in Cherthala, Kottayam and Kochin. Local train was great for Kochi. Cycled to different restaurants daily - Apsara was a favourite, had THE best parothas. Vishnu is such a lovely man. He was always there to ask anything, replied straight away to questions asked via whats app and we also treated ourselves to a pranic healing from him. AMAZING. I'd love to go back and am sure tge area will never change. Enjoy xxx

Our stay at Backwater Brook in Kumarakom was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything was meticulously arranged. Asif had already set up everything before our arrival, ensuring a seamless experience. Shanej greeted us warmly at the entrance, making us feel right at home. Special mention to Ajay Gosh, who went above and beyond to take care of us throughout our stay. His attentiveness and hospitality truly stood out. The food was another highlight—absolutely delicious and perfectly capturing the local flavors. The highlight of our trip was the serene 2-hour Shikara ride organized by Aneesh Sivam during sunset. Gliding through the tranquil canals surrounded by nature was an unforgettable experience, and it made our stay even more magical. This has been one of our best stays in Kumarakom so far, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to the entire team at Backwater Brook for an amazing time.

Amidst the city, Basil jas done incredible job of maintaining Heritage Property that too on backwaters. Riverside Heritage lives up to its name in all aspects. Basil is a great host. Being born and brought up of Kochi, he knows exactly what will amuse the guests and provides apt recommendations as per Guest requirement. At the age of 75 also, he is super active and extremely helpful. Kudos to Basil for the efforts he puts in to make guest's comfortable and creating a friendly bonding.

We recently stayed at this lovely Airbnb and had a truly rejuvenating experience. Located in a serene and lush village, the property is a peaceful retreat from the demands of daily life. One of our favorite features was the sit-out area, which overlooks a peaceful canal. We spent a lot of time here, enjoying the sound of the flowing water. The place is incredibly family-friendly, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind and enjoy the quiet. We felt completely at ease, knowing our daughter had a safe and comfortable place to play and explore. The host, who stays on the property, was incredibly kind and helpful. Their presence was reassuring, especially for any last-minute needs, and they always went out of their way to ensure we had everything we required. If you're looking for a place to disconnect, unwind, and explore the beauty of a charming village, this is the perfect getaway. Our family left feeling completely recharged and eager to return.

amazing location. right at the backwaters. Rohit is very helpful and arranged shikara boat for us which picked up right at the property and dropped us back. The whole experience of the boating was very private at a reasonable price. Highly recommended to stay at Rohit's place.
