A Gem by the Beach . 4 bedroom , Abel Tasman
What a lovely place to stay in Kaiteriteri. The house is great. Spacious, clean, great outdoor spaces and a well appointed kitchen. Kaiteriteri is a very peaceful and beautiful town to spend a few nights in and this AirBnB fits right in. I would recommend this place and stay there again myself.

Cosy on Courtney
We stayed for two nights with our four children to get organized for the Abel Tasman Great Walk, and this was one of the best-equipped houses we’ve stayed in. The space was incredibly generous for the six of us, and the large garden provided a lovely setting for outdoor dinners. The neighborhood was very quiet, making for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this place, and we would definitely stay again!

Spacious Lifestyle property
Emma was a great host, offering clear communication for our stay. The home was spotless, and there was a helpful folder with recommendations for things to do. We had a great time and felt completely at ease

Chalet sleeps 6, central Golden Bay
We had a beautiful second stay at the sandcastle. Loved the peaceful setting, birds and animals on the property. Pizza night was fabulous and Steve was incredibly gracious with our two boys and even took them blueberry picking. Thank you for taking extra care and checking in to ensure our stay was so special. Our boys said this was their favorite place we’ve stayed yet!

Private and sunny with great views
Anna’s home was lovely - location was great, less than a 5min drive to the city. The deck and kitchen had amazing views and we played cards every night until the sun went down. Pixie was super friendly and would always be there in the morning to say hello! Thanks Anna!

Stunning home in the heart of the Mapua village
Very comfortable near new high quality home close to Māpua village, but far enough away to have privacy and quiet. Very well equipped. Great kicking off point for all the region has to offer. Great communication thanks Alysha.

Your guide to Mārahau
All About Mārahau
This small town on New Zealand’s South Island sits at the doorstep of Abel Tasman National Park. Home to golden sand beaches and a multi-day coastal trek — the Abel Tasman Coastal Trek— New Zealand’s smallest national park is popular for its water sports and hiking trails; there’s also plenty of native wildlife to spot, like the world’s smallest penguin and fur seals warming themselves on the rocks near the edge of Tonga Island. Birders flock here for a chance to glimpse colorful tui and bellbirds singing in the forest. The town of Mārahau (population 200) has you covered with the basics, including kayak rentals, sailing excursions, horseback riding, and waterfront dining. There is a sprawling beach here perfect for swimming too.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Mārahau
Mārahau’s location in the southern hemisphere means that its seasons are opposite from what you might be used to. This region enjoys a moderate, maritime climate and experiences more sunshine than most places in New Zealand. Generally, the best months to secure your Mārahau accommodation are the summer months of December to February, when you’ll experience long days with mild temperatures that are perfect for beach activities. Fall and spring bring cool daytime temperatures, perfect for hiking, and the water is still warm enough for swimming. Winter (June to August) sees dry days with blue skies and cool but comfortable temperatures.
