HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!

A secure quiet room in a Caribbean house, uniquely located in St. James... close to city center, medical facilities, malls, museums, groceries, restaurants, coffee shop, bars and pubs, casinos and the local night life including great street food. I reside at the house and will be there to greet my guests when they arrive and would be happy to help them get oriented in the neighborhood. Guests can contact me at anytime personally or by phone calls, text messages, etc if I am not at home.

The perfect getaway... This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, with an amazing open view of the Caribbean Sea, sits just above Jean Baptiste Beach which has an access just a few feet way. There many waterfalls and beaches to visit in Blanchissuse, including Paria Waterfall, Avocatt Waterfall, Three Pools, Marian Beach and River, Damian Bay, etc. The Villa is equipped with A full kitchen, hot and cold water, a/c bedrooms, tv, and wifi. The host, extremely responsive and professional. She was kind and welcoming. Liesel was able to get us a rental car at the last minute. She was always in communication to make sure everything was going well. Our room was spotless, great beds and super soft sheets. I will recommend everyone to stay here!

A disclaimer ahead of time: I didn't actually stay at Ally's lodging. I was supposed to but my flight was cancelled and caused my plans to go belly up. Even though I had prepaid, I lost the two days I intended to stay in Trinidad. The reason why I'm reviewing is because Ally was not only kind enough to provide advice on how to handle the situation, but she provided me a refund despite the elapsed Airbnb refund window. It think it's important for people to know that Ally is honest and compassionate to her guests, helping even those she isn't required to do so by Airbnb's standards. Thanks Ally.

Staying here was truly a wonderful experience! The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated in a safe neighborhood just a short walk from Ariapita Avenue, the vibrant heart of nightlife in Port of Spain. Being able to park right in front of the house was also super convenient. But what really made this stay exceptional was Liesl and her amazing team. From the very first moment, Liesl made me feel completely at home. She even took the time to go to the supermarket with me so I could get everything I needed after arriving. At one point, I had an issue with an ATM: it didn’t give me any money, but the amount was still deducted from my account. Liesl was incredibly supportive and helped me sort everything out—it would have been really stressful without her assistance. And best of all, she helped me fulfill a lifelong dream: witnessing leatherback turtles in the wild. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Port of Spain!
