Vacation rentals in Maple Heights

This was our 2nd time staying here and we would definitely come back again. The home was as described in the listing, the location is great, so close to Front Street and all it has to offer. The house was clean and very cozy. The home was equipped with everything we needed for our 4 day stay.

Where we stay is important to us and this cozy cottage made our hearts sing! From the well stocked kitchen to the private backyard, we found the rest and relaxation we needed to recharge from our daily stressors. A warm and charming home well worth visiting.

Lisa has been more than just a host to us—she has truly become a part of our family over the past three years. From the very first stay, her warmth and hospitality made her place feel like home, but over time, she became so much more. Our fives children, who were little ones when we started, now call her Auntie Lisa without hesitation, and it’s a title she has more than earned. Staying with Lisa is not just about accommodation; it’s about love, care, and connection. She goes above and beyond to create a space that’s welcoming and nurturing. Whether it’s her thoughtful touches around the home, her knack for anticipating our needs, or just the way she takes the time to genuinely engage with us, Lisa’s presence makes all the difference. Coming back to our own house now feels a little emptier, as if something is missing. Normally, there’s that excitement to return home after being away, but for us, “home” feels wherever Lisa is. She has become a cornerstone of our lives.

We loved our stay so much! We had three adults, a two year old and two dogs in the middle of January. We were aiming for a comfy place to be able to gather and enjoy some cooking time and outside time together and this was just perfect. Awesome kitchen with all the things you could possibly need! Great space for the dogs and easy access to walking them. It was too cold to really do anything too long outside but I bet the lake is super amazing in the summer! We talked about this being a great meeting spot later this year with some other family too- we would absolutely stay again!

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

We chose this charming, rustic cabin for our annual family fall weekend away for its many amenities, price and proximity to Cuyahoga national Park. The pool table was in the garage, which we assumed would be too cold to use, which was a bummer, but also possible it was heated. We just didn’t check. Cabin also wasn’t as remote as I expected but wasn’t a bother, the setting was private enough and felt very safe. Hot tub was great. Also really nice fire pit and deck. Pretty cool that they had extra games and TV in the basement, which we didn’t end up using either, but still nice to have. The bed was amazing! King size and super cozy. Loved the giant TV in the bedroom. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely choose it again.

kelly and ben's home was clean and comfortable! 6 of us stayed there and there was plenty of room. the upstairs kitchen was well-stocked; we had everything we needed! the large dining table was bright and sunny, surrounded by big windows. plenty of room in the living room to watch the football game or the snowflakes falling in the huge backyard! the firepit was lovely and kelly had wood available for us to use. kelly responded immediately to any questions and even ran over to the house to help find a pump for the pull-out bed air mattress. it snowed one night and the driveway was plowed the next morning. very, very attentive hosts!

This house is comfortable, and convenient for our needs. We appreciated Dan's diligence when it snowed. Shovel was there, he brought salt, and he offered to shovel for us, too.

This was such a nice place to stay. It was so clean and had everything I needed to just relax. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay, nice neighborhood. Everything was very clean & comfortable. Close to the airport which works perfect for us when we get into town late. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thanks for the clear instructions & communication prior to arrival.

Our group of 7 were able to comfortably spend some time together before going out for New Year's Eve. The house is very close to both Ohio City and Tremont attractions. Had we stayed at a hotel it would have cost way more and we would not have been able to hang out all together. The house is very old but that's the charm of it. It has so much character and has been remodeled very nicely. There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms were all very nice. The only issue we had was the TV in the kitchen did not pick up anything. We did get the one working in the living room instead so it was not a huge deal. I would recommend the house if you want to spend some time in the area. Thanks Daniel for hosting and also letting us park in the back. It made it easy to unpack things and repack them in the morning. Happy New Year!
