Guesthouse vacation rentals in Manhattan

I love staying in unique Airbnbs when I come to NYC for work and this was definitely a treat. It was very much out of a movie and times gone by and yet so reasonably priced, comfortable and easy to access. Walk or ride to Columbia easily. LOTS of walkable shops and restaurants and easy access to trains. Don’t stay if you’re not keen on sharing a bathroom (I didn’t mind and it was never a problem) but note there’s only one shower (the floor I stayed on had just a bathtub) but it’s easy to get to either bathroom if one is occupied. There is a smell in the air that is perhaps the age of the home showing itself but worth mentioning because it might be off putting if you are sensitive to fragrances or other odors but I want to stress that it was VERY clean and nothing I co couldn’t fix in my own room with essential oils. GREAT communication and flexibility on Rene’s part.

Odalis was very nice and helped me a lot during my stay.Nice clean room, Odalis clean the bathroom every day.The neighborhood is quiet, and safe.This is a Spanish-speaking neighborhood, everyone is kind, enthusiastic. I am very grateful

The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a week stay. Host was very friendly and responsive. My wife and I just love the neighborhood.

Lisa's place is very nice. I stayed 4 days and was very pleased with the accommodations. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Geralde has created a lovely basement unit: private entrance, tons of natural light, homey, spacious, good feeling layout with comfortable furniture, bed, and no clutter or over-furnishing junking up the place! Big kitchen and closet was an added bonus. She and Pierre were also friendly, helpful hosts quick to respond. Was also reasonably priced! Definitely recommend if in the area. They stay was great, I stayed before and returned because of the comfort cleanliness and communication, the rooms are really comfortably nice and a short or long stay is always worth it,, thanks again

This pool house is a nice space for a couple. The location 1.5 miles from downtown Denville, with a train stop one block away. Even though it is across the street from the rail line, it is relatively quiet at night. The house is as presented in the listing and is accessible via an exterior staircase adjacent to a designated parking space off a shared driveway. It is clean and tidy with a spacious, open living room/kitchenette/dining area. The 1.5 baths were small, but adequate. The basics we needed during our stay (coffee maker with coffee pods and tea, cookware, plates and glasses, utensils, clean towels and linens, soap, etc.) were included. The hosts were responsive and helpful with our requests during our stay. We look forward to returning.

Everything was great. Perfect for what we needed. Will use again if we ever need an airbnb again.

We have stayed here a number of times. It is really convenient for us when visiting family in the area. We like having our private place to stay. We walk to the shopping and restaurants nearby. It is very close to the train which we use going to Manhattan.

Santiago and Mariella are the awesome host of this cute Airbnb! They were so polite and showed us the place like a house tour. We wanted a place to rest and stay for the evening, and other options were not open to make the place available in short notice, I messaged Santiago and he made it available for us within half hour. Love the place, so cozy and beautiful. Will definitely visit again!

We booked this place last minute and she was able go the place in just an hour. The place was perfect for what we needed. She was very friendly and the space was very clean and cute!

Absolutely STUNNING place - even better than the beautiful photos... Perfect for a few days of R & R with plenty of grocers and restaurants nearby. A completely luxurious home away from home with every amenity one could think of, including individual heating units for each room. A perfect place and one of the loveliest accommodations on this site...........

The host was understanding and kind enough to allow me to check in early since i was leaving a previous air bnb. I def recommend anyone who is looking for a stay in jersey to pick this spot... it is def worth it.... only thing that i will say that scared me was on the 2nd night there was a shooting right outside of the air bnb, it was an idiot who was walking down the street and decided to be heard and not seen.... Other then that it was an amazing stay

We were attending a wedding & associated festivities and wanted somewhere walkable in the neighborhood - this fit the bill 100 percent, even though the weather was not the most cooperative! The place was a quiet oasis, the heated bathroom floors were lovely, and we always appreciate hosts providing enough coffee for our stay. Despite not cooking this go around, it is also good to see when there is actual thought put into what is in the kitchen cabinets & drawers - Andrew’s done a great job there. The only issue we had is that one of the windows did not close completely, which was a bit loud on the windier nights.

Wonderful place! Cozy space that provided exactly what I needed. Heard a few footsteps above but nothing that disrupted my sleep or was an annoyance. Location near the train and various coffeeshop/bars cannot be beat. I will def stay again!

This place is peaceful and beautiful. Had a great quick stay. Some additions to the space would’ve added to its already accommodating vibe. There isn’t a kitchen so be prepared to order food.
