Vacation rentals in Mandara

We only stayed one night; but would definitely come back and stay longer the next time we are in Moshi! The house was exactly as described; beautiful gardens, covered front porch with a nice breeze, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. Our kids immediately settled down to play one of the board games while we unpacked. Fred was super friendly and responsive both before we arrived (to work out arrival and departure times and get a recommendation for airport taxi) and while we were staying. He left a helpful list of local numbers at the house (taxis, tuk-tuks, local restaurant, police station, hospital, etc) and went above and beyond helping us arrange a taxi for our group when one of the drivers didn't have Whats App. WiFi and electricity were reliable while we were there. The neighborhood was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. No early morning roosters like our house in Arusha! I can't believe this home is such a good value!

We enjoyed our stay on the leafy foothills at Magdalena’s. Erick, our manager/ chef was always eager to make sure we were fed— he also helped us find the place for the first time, meeting us along the way. It’s a proper home home, and we felt as if we were guests at a friend’s, just missing the friend! Staff were on site to light a fire to roast marshmallows, there was a housekeeper who took care of chores. Nice to have a generator so we didn’t have to stop watching Netflix on TV 🤪. Really good. We would go back to explore the area some more.

Benjamin and his family let us feel at home from the first moment we took a step. Food was incredible, an authentic cultural taste. His excursions were a life time experience. The rooms were intimate and quaint. If you want a full comprehensive safari experience with a knowledgeable guide, Benjamin is the guy for that. Fully recommended!

Absolute gem in the savannah. I should have booked a week. Great balance of rustic and comfort, all the amenities you need and very clean. Birds everywhere in the morning, comfy amenities, and a great bonfire pit. I could have stayed a week.

Nice clean house with all that you'd need for your stay. Comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Great location in shanty Town walkable to cafes and local shops. Quiet area. Maria who helps with cleaning and maintaining the area was also very friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage The property is new, and everything has been thoughtfully designed with a personal touch. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The host and the on-site staff are exceptional—they’re always ready to help and check in to ensure you have everything you need. The location is fantastic, right off a good road, making it easily accessible by any car. One of the highlights was being able to see elephants giraffes and zebras not too far off with help from the staff, we took a short drive to see other wildlife. Waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro each morning was an unforgettable experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to come back again

Sarah's place is amazing. Living in her apartment felt like home. Kitchen laundry access big plus. was able to prepare my own meals. The place is organized and you will have your privacy. I will definitely come back.

It was a pleasure staying at this place! We would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is such a lovely place, super clean and Ammar is beyond friendly and a good guy. If I‘m going to Moshi I would definitely stay there again! Thank you for hosting us :-)
