Great spot to stay. Our adult children immediately gave it a thumbs up (they are very picky). Very rustic and warm. We used the wood stove a lot. The cabin had a great atmosphere. Having the Rio Grande River 50 feet away didn't hurt the scenery. The cabin was well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook (we only ate out once). Of all of the airbnb places we have stayed. This was our favorite. We'll stay here again if we visit South Fork and Wolf Creek again.

Michael is an excellent host, communicative, understanding and very helpful. This was our second time at his place and he always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. I am so grateful he shares this space for all to enjoy, the cabin is amazing and the view from the back porch is one of the best in NM. The space is extremely clean with plenty of room, has everything you need for a wonderful stay in a magical place. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend! The location was terrific, right on the river, and it was very beautiful and peaceful! The pictures don't do justice. It was perfect for the two of us, and our dog loved it! Check-in was a breeze and Lee was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

We really enjoyed this property and it was perfect for our group and our group size. We comfortably fit 13 people and a baby. The house was in wonderful condition, well decorated & furnished and it had some of the nicest linens I’ve ever seen at a rental property! The host was quick to respond to any and all questions. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to revisit in the future.

We had a great stay! She was very responsive and prepared us a great breakfast each morning. The views from the back deck were amazing. Her place is only 30 minutes from Culebra Peak and you can see other 14ers including Little Bear, Ellingwood, Blanca, and Lindsey from her deck. We will be back to climb those as well.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for our family, teenage kids and a baby included! The homes amenities, decor and furniture are upscale! It stayed warm in the home and the indoor garage parking is a huge perk during the cold months! The river and scenery are incredible! The only negative part of our stay was disposing of trash! You have to take it to the local grocer and it is a huge hassle when you are vacationing and need convenience! The morning we left the store wasn’t open yet, so be mindful of store hours, you pay to dispose of it and the bin is locked! Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

I stayed for over 20 days and I felt at home from the moment I walked in the front door. Everything was absolutely perfect and spotless. I enjoyed the ability to hunt and fish along with great golfing in the clubhouse was absolutely wonderful. Perfect would be the word to describe this place and the hosts. Thank you guys. Sweet and simple house that was just right for me during my week at Adams State for labs. It took me a minute to figure out how to get in the door, but having the lockbox was really nice vs dealing with a key.

Sometimes five stars was not enough to properly rate this place. We came for a four-day weaving workshop at Tierra Wools in Chama and this place was just 10 minutes away. It is in the quiet community of Brazos and was in such a picturesque location especially after the two snowfalls we had. The house was warm and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The internet worked fine (many of the other airbnbs in the area did not offer wifi). This nicely restored and decorated old adobe was the perfect escape after a long day in the weaving workshop. We also really appreciated the covered parking area when leaving in the morning after a night of snow.

Two BR Ranch style home in the San Luis Valley!

We loved Brian's home and he is a wonderful host! The location was just outside of town and had beautiful mountain views. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room and the bedrooms were geat too. We will definetly be back next time we visit Alamosa again!

Warm & Inviting Cabin near Great Sand Dunes

This was our family's 2nd stay at this property, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. The location is very private and secluded, with beautiful views everywhere you look. You're only a few minutes from Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, and about a 30-ish minute drive to the hot spring pool. The house is quite large and provided private spaces for each of the 5 of us. The large kitchen has every amenity. There is a "no shoes inside" policy at this property, which is not an issue at all, and the carpet and flooring stay clean. The roads in the neighborhood are not paved, and are perfect for taking long walks where you might spot deer, rabbits and dozens of hummingbirds.
