Perfect cottage for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Located directly on the lake and without a direct neighbor, you can enjoy time with sauna sessions and fireplace evenings. In our case also with wonderful aurora lights on the terrace, overlooking the lake. Bjørn Erik is very accommodating, he has always been available and took care of our well-being. We will be happy to come back!

We will be very happy to stay in Elisabet cottage and we recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and beautifully located place at the optimal distance from the airport in Tromso! The place is completely as described and photographed in the ad. All rooms are very clean and if needed, cleaning supplies are available in the cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we could prepare homemade meals and hang out at the big table. The view from the windows is beautiful, it's incredibly cozy and warm inside. Elisabet quickly responds to messages and is very helpful, provided us with clear instructions before arrival, and is also happy to recommend local experiences. Checking in and out is easy and quick. I recommend it with all my heart!

Great and easy communication from the first minute. The house is perfectly equipped and can do exactly what it is supposed to be. The location is perfect to see the northern lights and enjoy the tranquility with great views.

We loved our stay at Bjarte's cabin, it was peaceful, well situated and had all the facilities we needed for a relaxing break. Our highlights were seeing the northern lights from the hot tub, and visiting a local Sami reindeer farm half an hour away.

What a gem! Lovely house, nice rooms, lovely view and amazing (free) use sauna and hottub. You have to make a reservation via a handy app/qr-code. Everything thought off and well explained! We met jarle when we arrived and he was really nice to talk to and gave great info/tips. 10/10, would definetely recommend! And we had amazing aurora views further down over the fjord! Amazing!

We've had an amazing stay at Høyrostua! The place is simply perfect to spend a couple of days and rewind. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. If you are into skiing, it's a ski in, ski out place so perfect! The kitchen is really well equiped, big and clean. We've seen amazing Northern Lights and you can even watch it from inside through all the big windows. Communication with Øyvind is really good! Very fast as well. Thank you so much Øyvind and Hege!

Joakim is an excellent host. She responds very quickly to every question and solves all issues instantly. The place we stayed was extraordinarily nice. Everything you can think of or you don't have in this house. Watching aurora in the jacuzzi outside is an amazing experience. Since the house is located in a quiet and light-free area, it is much nicer to watch the aurora. We had the chance to watch the aurora for the entire 3 days of our stay. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the house from Tromso airport, but there is no problem with transportation as the roads are constantly cleaned. We had a fire in the evening, both inside and out, and joakim provided plenty of wood for it. There was everything in the house, you don't need anything extra. In summary, we had a great 3 days in this house and would definitely stay here again if I were to come back.

Airbnb doesn't have enough stars for this magical home!!!! I came for my birthday with my best, the house is absolutely magical, clean, very cosy and very close to all we needed. The cabin had all we needed from cooking amenities, also cleaning. I originally booked for 3 night but loved it so much we extend for a week! We could see the northern lights every single night we were there just from the comfort of the living room! Everything was just perfect! Thank you Mona Lisa to make this a magical week, and foe all your advise to travel around senja and the lofoten islands! and the restaurants ypu advised were super!!! I can't wait to cone back again!!!!! :)
