Luxury Riverside Cottage with Hot Tub

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What an enchanting few days we spent at this lovely cottage. Immaculate, idyllic, quiet and beautiful surroundings. You could stay locally and walk to dinner or to Cawdor Castle. You’re also a short drive to Inverness and Nairn. And as for the hot tub? It’s hot and pristine and you will use it more than you’ll ever believe. At the end of a long day touring, you’ll move through the chilly night into the hot tub and stare at the stars. It’s ideal….

Gorgeous Rosemarkie Cottage

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely cottage for our wee winter break. Immediately felt right at home and space was perfect for us (4 adults and 2 dogs) to relax for a few days. Cottage well laid out and equipped, beautifully furnished and decked out for christmas too. Location suited us really well - able to enjoy daily beach walks, buy tasty local food eating in and out, while reacquainting ourselves with all our favourite places on the Black Isle. Enjoyed the cosy stove and tho we didn't fire up the hottub during our December stay, everything was prep'd ready for use. Maybe next time, as we'll definitely be back. Thanks very much Eva. 💜 xxx

3 Bedroom Cottage with Hot Tub and Log Burner

GuyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Mitsubishi Heating System was interesting. The toilet seat needs to be adjusted for gentlemen having a pee. The bathroom door just clips the bath as it opens and needs a little shaving off the door. Just a few little things that I noticed being an Airbnb host myself. I am not being critical but trying to be helpful to mine host.

The Cottage on Loch Ness, with panoramic views.

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful week spent in a little piece of paradise tucked away on the shores of Lochness. Although the cottage is private and off the main roads you are so handy for the local shop at Foyers, the pub and coffee hut at Dores and only a further 20/25mins to Inverness. So much to explore and do. The cottage itself has everything you need for your stay and is so cozy & warm, especially after a day of exploring the forests right on the door step. The private beach made for the perfect spot for morning coffee as the sun came up and evening drinks as the sun set. Turan was such a thoughtful and extremely helpful host, even leaving me a birthday card on arrival along with the welcome package! Me and my husband were sad to leave and head back to reality, we hope to return sometime soon!

Traditional Scottish cottage in Highland glen

AnastasiaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tim and Judy were wonderful attentive hosts and we had a great time there!! We got snowed in, which wasn't as planned but their place is incredibly beautiful in the snow! One thing to note is that there is no wifi or connection in the cottage so if you need to use wifi you have to go into their house. It worked perfectly fine for us because all we needed it for was loading Google maps but sort of unexpected that it wasn't available inside our accom. That just means it's the perfect place to disconnect and be with your people ❤️ The style is incredibly cozy and the wood fire, dogs and farm/woodland animals roaming about were the star of the show!

Lovely modern cottage close to Plockton and Skye

JosephRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I really enjoyed my stay at Struan Lea's, its in a fantastic location for visiting Skye and Plocton. The hosts were amazing and always available should you require them. The entire property was very clean, the kitchen was excellent and provided most things you require for a self catering week away. The welcome basket was really thoughtful. I would definitely stay at Struan Lea again!

Cottage near Applecross

BetkeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

Craigrowan Croft (An Sean Tigh)

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Grant and Laura are lovely, friendly and helpful people. The property is a detached characterful old granite cottage, modernised inside to to high specification. Very quiet and peaceful and a short walk to the village centre. Very warm, underfloor heating, powerful shower and modern kitchen and bathroom; very well equipped. They gave us fresh eggs from their own hens, which were delicious. Would definitely go again and highly recommended, Thanks.

Cottage retreat in wooded secluded private grounds

ChantelleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This cottage was exactly what I was hoping for. They thought of all the most important touches to make it cosy and like a home away from home. Hosts were responsive and even thought of small touches that made us feel so welcome. The views in the area were stunning and all the recommendations for food and things to do were on point. My time in the UK is over soon but I might have to make one more trip before I leave. It was just that restorative!

Century Old Shepherds Cottage overlooking Loch Tay

RobertRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This cottage is located in a peaceful and beautiful setting. There is a working farm and another outdoor adventure company which use the grounds, so some mornings/days can be a bit busy, but mostly I found it to be wonderfully quiet and private. Certainly at night. This cottage is also stylish and meticulously appointed. The cooking and dining wares are especially impressive. Hosts Olive and Ronnie are kind and attentive, ready at a moment's notice to be helpful. They even received several Amazon packages at their home and delivered them to me without hesitation. One thing that I did not realize and caution others about is that there is no shower. A lovely bathtub which proved sufficient for me, but no shower at all.

Moll Cottage

MelinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage and the surroundings are beautiful, it's very well stocked and comfy. I was a little worried after reading other reviews the nearby fishery might spoil the peaceful views but it didn't at all, it was actually nice to watch the boats out on the water. We did have some trouble with check in, after arriving to the cottage in the dark after a long day I realized that we hadn't received the code for the lock box. I tried calling and messaging the host with no response. We were very lucky and figured out another way inside, otherwise we would've been waiting for around 40mins before the host responded. I still gave 5 stars because everything else about the cottage was great and I particularly appreciate the efforts the hosts went to to be environmentally friendly and have eco friendly products. Based on the other reviews I don't think our experience is typical, but I would suggest making sure you have the code before arriving. But overall we would stay again and would recommend

The Sailean Bothy, Island of Lismore

TessRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Sailean Bothy is a very special place as is the island of Lismore. We walked, we ran, we swam. We talked, we learned about local history, we played board games. We had peace. We had quiet. Dave and Alison provided everything we, a mother and 21 year old daughter, usually very reliant on modern conveniences let’s face it, needed actually. They were very welcoming with helpful, friendly messages before we arrived. A perfect couple of nights a world away from our busy lives.

Gloria and Willie made us feel right at home. The home itself was incredibly beautiful and quiet. The deck and garden area was also amazing and wish we got to use it more. Both Gloria and Willie were so friendly and helpful and just lovely to chat with. Will definitely call again when we go back to the isle of skye
