Wonderful, tastefully decorated historic house with a lot of flair. The house is super clean. Bathroom , kitchen, and living room great. Really nice view of the lake that you can also enjoy from the bathtub. The beds are comfortable. And the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere in the living room. The parking lot at the cemetery is a short walk away. We had no problems getting a parking space for our car. Communication with Louise is quick and helpful. She has great tips and is very empathetic. Also, thanks for the welcome drink!!! Thank you for the wonderful time in your house. See you next year.

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

We had a great time in the accomodation situated in a small historic mountain village with a stunning view on lake Lugano. Thanks to our friendly hosts everything went smooth and easy. Hiking trails and delicious Restaurants nearby. Many helpful hints on local activities were provided by the hosts.

The apartment fully complies with the description. We especially liked the view from the balcony. Shops can be reached quickly, buses to Ascona or Locarno can be reached in a few minutes. Optimal starting point for excursions in the various valleys for hiking or also to Cannobio for a market stroll. We would love to come back

Enrica's place is the best I've stayed for this trip. The kitchen was fully equipt, as was the bathroom. Both of these were in pristine condition; very clean and organised. I particularly loved the little touches i.e, paintings by Enrica and cute items, which were strategically place in the apartment. Enrica communicated clearly a day before check-in to ensure that I knew how to get into the house. Enrica and family are very hospitable people and made sure I felt at home. I recommend Enrica's place to everyone, without doubt.

We had a great stay in the house, it was exceptionally clean and cozy. Everything was very comfortable, yet authentic and charming. The location is great for hiking trips in the Verzasca valley and has a great restaurant nearby. Enrico was a very kind and thoughtful host, we felt very welcome in his house and can only recommend it for anyone visiting that area.

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

Warm welcome by Fabrizio. Good explanation of what to do and where the dog is welcome. Very clean accommodation and everything was correct according to the listing. 2 small fenced gardens where the dog can walk around safely. Close to the dike where there are many cafes and restaurants. Small supermarket nearby, Large supermarkets 5 min by car. Host responds quickly to messages. We have had a pleasant time there.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We had a wonderful stay at Lara’s house. The house is as on the pictures. It was spotless and very well equipped. We did not use the pool as it was already covered (we were informed about it before making our reservation), but we used the finish bath, which was very pleasant after a day of hike or sightseeing. The region is beautiful, the food is yummy and people very friendly. We would have loved to stay longer. Lara was very helpful and ready to help and answer the questions. Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful house.

This airbnb was amazing. It looked like you were in a wood cabin. I loved the style. Luca was super responsive and always reachable. He gave us local recommendations on what we should visit and everything was just as he said. The room was really clean and really worth the stay. Its very well reachable by car. If you want to visit the restaurants nearby you are there within 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes walking distance. I would really recommend anyone to visit this airbnb if you just want to have your peace and quiet. Just all in all amazing experience. Thank you Luca!

Staying here with 4 adults worked very well Lots of space Great location Varenna is a lovely village Alessandra was always very responsive and went far beyond to help us eg finding us a place to have Christmas lunch and booked and when we got stranded as the trains stopped running due to an incident on the line and we had exhausted all options we contacted her to see if she had any further ideas and she was able to get a taxi for us - we were so grateful The apartment is very well equipped, clean and walking distance to train station, ferry and village centre If came back to Varenna would stay here again Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at Maria Luisa's place. The apartment had everything we needed, and the setting was absolutely stunning. The open kitchen was perfect for rustling up a quick dinner while staying part of the conversation. Although the view was hidden by fog at first, it cleared to reveal the full beauty of Lago Maggiore - an unforgettable sight! Maria Luisa was very helpful and responsive, making our family break even more enjoyable. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great weekend stay at Samuele’s place! The view is incredible and the private garden was perfect for our dogs! The location is just a short 16-20 minute walk from the little town with beautiful nature.

Really good hosts! Very responsive on the messages. Despite the language differences still managed to communicate effectively.

For us, everything is perfect and the host gave us regional tips for eating and hiking, and the markets ( small regional) are worth seeing . I highly recommend the hike with sun and view on the lake. Small things such as coffee, 2 sets of terry towels ,shower, lemons from your own garden, etc. thank you again at this point

We spent three wonderful nights at this chalet nestled in the heights of Lake Como, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. It was a haven of peace, surrounded by nature and animals, away from any urban noise or traffic. Absolute calm allowed us to really recharge our batteries. The cottage was warm and very nice, a real cocoon that my mother and I loved. Only small downside: the bed a little noisy when we moved, but nothing that spoiled our stay. The hosts were adorable, very welcoming and thoughtful, even going so far as helping us unload the car. We would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway in an idyllic setting!

Large, very functional and perfectly clean accommodation. Many hikes in the immediate vicinity, lakes can be reached in 10 min by car. Decoration that gives a soul to the home. We had a great stay at Marco's.

The house sleeps 4 people and is very well located as you can easily walk to the nearest grocery store as well as the beach. The car can always be easily parked in the 2 private parking spaces of which one is covered. The beach has plenty of trees and therefore enough shade. The beachfront restaurant sells delicious pizza and other food. The place is very nice for walking and we were even lucky enough to have a city festival.

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic Airbnb in the mountains near Lake Lugano. The small Italian village exudes tranquility, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surrounding nature with its mountains is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities for hikes and walks. The Airbnb itself is immaculately clean and cozy – a perfect place to get away from it all. If you are looking for peace, nature and Italian village idyll, this is the place to be.
