Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Malawi

Floncy and Kondwani's home was an unforgettable local homestay base for us. This is the ultimate place to immerse yourself in Malawi culture. This community is a true village, with closeknit connections and an opportunity to meet many locals. The hosts are a young family (they have an adorable 3 year old as well), and they are incredibly kind. We opted for full board, which was amazing. Floncy is a wonderful cook, and we enjoyed learning how to make traditional dishes with her and chatting with the family during meals. We loved exploring Livingstonia by foot and on motorcycle taxis. The family also runs a community-based organization that is helping local elders, and we enjoyed volunteering with them! We've been traveling for 8 months, and this is one of our favorite places from our travels.

Elizabeth was a super host my stay was only for 3 nights and the location is very secure and the house to me was looking like a mansion and very peaceful just across the street a nice small restaurant serving Morocco food. easy to walk around and close to supermarket. if you passing by Lilongwe make sure to look her up and i am sure that you will loved it.

Host was amazing. very easy to communicate and extremely helpful. She provided information about Lilongwe and Malawi in general. Place is situated in good location. Place suited my need for my overnight stay in Lilongwe. Recommended for budget traveller.

Great location and wonderful home. The house is managed along with Villa Kupa. I strongly suggest that you Google Villa Kupa and call the number prior to arrival to verify your plans and arrival time. The home itself is beautiful and the Garden is absolutely amazing, show quality. highly recommended

Couldn’t have wished for a better stay in Blantyre! Rob and Tikhala made me feel at home from the first minute, invited me for dinner, shared tips about Blantyre with me… I also stayed at their Airbnb in a village next to Zomba - so glad for this experience. Zikomo, see you!
