Cabin vacation rentals in Mälaren

It was a really cozy cabin and Linus was a helpful host. It was amazing to relax with the hot tub after Stockholm's stressful routine.

Such a wonderful stay, we enjoyed the nature, wildlife and the short walk for morning swims and the little beach for the children. The accomodation was a little nerve wracking with small children, ladders and balconies, but the hosts were so wonderful and friendly, we enjoyed our stay a lot and have fallen in love with Sweden

Our stay at Helene’s place was really great! The accommodation was exactly as in the descriptions. Very cozy, perfectly clean and equipped with everything that’s needed. It’s a perfect getaway to spend some quiet time in the nature. Helene is a very communicative and responsive host. She provided all the necessary information, local recommendations and replied fast when any questions came up. I can totally recommend Helene’s Airbnb and would love to go there again! 😊

Very nice quiet cottage in a very nice environment. The description is totally accurate to reality. Katerina was a very good host: she was kind enough to turn on the heater before we arrived, and to leave us all the wood we needed to enjoy the fireplace. The hot tub was perfect, it was a Happiness. Very clean and comfortable, we'll be happy to come back! It's a perfect haven to relax in peace.

The cottage is simple, but perfect for those who want a cozy and picturesque experience in the Swedish archipelago. Very lovely area, you can walk everywhere and discover Husarö properly. We left Stockholm to celebrate New Year's Eve beyond rockets and fireplaces, the house was a real hit and not only our dog but also we had an incredibly cozy evening. So rural and peaceful, yet so easily accessible from the big city. We were very well received and given clear instructions around everything. The house was a classic Swedish cottage with wood stove and board floors. The decor was pleasant and caring; potted plants, embroidered tablecloths, rag rugs, and hand-woven kitchen towels. The kitchen was very well equipped. A place we are happy to recommend to others and also think that we want to come back to during a warmer season.

Beautiful quiet location, good place to walk with the dogs and from the cottage several hiking trails accessible by car. Beautiful views and various possibilities to sit outside. Warm welcome and good instructions. Everything was present in the cottage.

Had a wonderful time at the cottage on the ground of Helen and her family. The accommodation is cozy and has everything needed. For me, a perfect combination of privacy and contact. It was an absolutely amazing stay I had in Marianne's little cabin. My warmest recommendations. Marianne was flexible and helpful from my first question and explained everything to me, so I easily got from Stockholm out to Resarö by public transport. She researched things for me, suggested things to see on the island, and was overall a present, nice, and extremely helpful hostess. I came by train and bus, and therefore couldn't bring much, but it didn't matter - everything I needed was in the cabin, shopping was in walking distance and the rest you could easily get to by bike, which Marianne also provided. The island itself and the city were pure Swedish archipelago idyll, small fine streets, beautiful houses, apple trees all over, cliffs and many different bathing places, both from ladder and sandy beach. All in all, I can only recommend everything highly: Marianne, the cabin, the island, etc. I want to go there again!

We had an great stay in the accommodation offered by Andreas. The chalet itself is much better than the photo's make appear. Further did it offer all facilities that serve your every need (coffee, paper towels, slippers for the sauna, boardgames etc). Andreas was a perfect host and aided with our every inquiry. He even shoveled all the snow before my car assuring a seamless exit. Would highly recommend if you feel to cocoon for a few days with your significant other and enjoy the surrounding nature.

I was allowed to stay at Britt-Louise and her husband's place for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The place is very quiet and the view is priceless, especially in the early morning or at sunset. But the best thing about the time there was the conversations and the warm nature of the hosts, so you immediately felt at home. Britt-Louise's excursion tips are worth its weight in gold! I would love to stay there again at any time.
