The Highland Haven, converted barn, John O'Groats

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, laundry facilities, free WIFI and offer fresh scones on arrival (pm for details). There's nowhere quite like it, check out @thehighlandhaven #sconewiththewind 😁

Come & stay in the rural heart of Orkney in Ian & Andy’s eco house close to Maes Howe, the Ring of Brodgar, & the Loch of Harray. We are fairly remote: a *20 minute drive* from Kirkwall, Stromness, & the main tourist sites. *We are not easily reachable by bus.* Dogs are welcome provided they have well behaved owners who bring bedding for them as they aren't allowed on the furniture or the bed. Cereal, milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams, & yoghurt provided for breakfast.
